SE3 Files. by Azu at 4:08 PM EDT on June 6, 2010
Okay, what an SPB file and .se3? It found in Tales of Vesperia/Tales of Graces.

I looked at the SBP in a hex Editor. "RIFF....WAVEfmt"

Tales of Vesperia's SPB file contains XMA files within. Use a wav extractor on them.

The SBP file is a renamed NUB file?
by bxaimc at 4:21 PM EDT on June 8, 2010
no, the SE3. It has some extra header and table with all the file names at the beginning but then I see a nub header at 0x5000 and according to NubExt, it's valid.

Ah. What of the SBP file though, you said use some Wav Extractor. What would that be? Like the one in XMA topic?

Should I rename the SE3 with a .nub extension?
That doesn't seem to work.

I'm not sure what's in the XMA topic...
and no.....don't rename the file...like I've said...it has a extra header..
by Azu at 7:32 AM EDT on June 15, 2010
How did you get NubExt to read it anyways?
by bxaimc at 7:53 AM EDT on June 15, 2010
remove the extra header....
by Azu at 12:20 PM EDT on June 15, 2010
DO I remove this part?

Getting unknown header.

Remove the first 0x5000 (20480) bytes, at 0x5000 starts a valid NUB file.
by Azu at 3:59 PM EDT on June 16, 2010
Remove everything above the 00005000 offset?
I did that and it said unknown header.
It also appears that there are XMA files in it.

So, can I get it extracted? I remove the first 2048- bytes, but NubExt says it was a unknown header.

NubEXT_r9 (with xma)
by Azu at 11:40 AM EDT on June 22, 2010
Awesome. Worked like a charm.
Although, once extracted, the XMA won't convert=/
