War for Cybertron, unreadable mp3's from fsbs by pepper at 1:52 PM EDT on July 6, 2010
This game seems to use FSB4 files, containing mp3's.
only problem is, when i use fsb mpeg or fsb ext on an extracted fsb from the SoundNodeWaveEX file, i get either a headerless mp3, or possibly just garbage, either way its unplayable for me. it seems to think its done good though, telling success!

that's one of the files, i can provide as many as nessecary.
One more thing! by pepper at 1:56 PM EDT on July 6, 2010
some of them are extractable and playable, mainly the longer ones, except the beginning is almost cut off, like instead of the rocket launch in game, i get a psssssssssss tail, without the impact the game one has. http://filebox.me/view/64m9cbhcm
The BEEP file seems to work just fine with fsb_mpeg if you cut off the first 0x58 bytes. It's just a beep, don't know what you're expecting. And the other one seems to be fine, too. If you seem to have stuff cut off, I can only blame your decoder. fsb_mpeg won't report success unless it sees as many samples as the fsb header indicates.
Oh wow, I see now, it's an mp2 (mpeg version 1, layer 2), not an mp3 and my default audio player for mp3's doesnt support mp2. and trys to import it as raw data. my bad.
i also have an old as shit version of quicktime, thats not helping matters either.
