Xenoblade adx by lordskylark at 2:12 AM EDT on October 1, 2010
The newest version of vgmstream no longer supports Xenoblade adx? Is this an error or intentional?

Seems to work ok here in r859, are you sure vgmstream is working at all? If you've upgraded from a really old version you may not have all the external dlls, check the readme. And if you do have all the dlls, try extracting them again anyway, they can sometimes get screwed up.

Thanks. There was a new dll added since the older version I had (the last time I upgraded I think was the beginning of this year).

Thanks,
Andy

I can load the Xenoblade .adx files in both foobar and winamp just fine, but it doesn't fade out on loop two and just stops, making it really awkward. It doesn't even go five seconds past the second loops, it stops right at the second loop point. What's going on?

It seems some songs do this and some songs don't... I'm trying specifically to export adx000d (or "Daily Life" on the OST) to either .mp3 or .flac and both of them in both foobar and winamp show the same results, broken looping. I've messed with the loop length and even set vgmstream to play three loops but no matter what I do it's two loops and then end. What the hell is going on....

I guess I'll manually loop it myself for now, but I'm still bummed this isn't working...

um...check your settings?

That's what I've been doing, but like I said nothing is fixing it and I have no clue what to do.

Wow okay no I figured it out, apparently Nintendo put a bunch of songs as "adx_001x" with a letter last instead of just "adx_0001" and all the ones with the letters are non-looping, and they all have looping perfect, working full numbered versions.
