How to use the applications? by mewgull at 11:04 AM EST on January 19, 2011
Hello all!

Well, I am new to the ripping scene here.
I just recently ripped my Super Mario Galaxy game disc, used Trucha Signer to extract all of the .ast and .aw audio files, but I am having troubles with the applications that this site offers.
I tried to open it, but the black dialogue box appears and disappears and nothing happens. So I decided to drag files into the application but the same thing happens. Nothing happens.
What must I do to use these applications?

While I'm at it, what are recommendations on steps and programs to use to rip Super Mario Galaxy sound effects?

Thanks a lot!

They're command line programs. You need to use the command prompt as if you're using DOS :P

Ah no, I thought so... v_v
*sigh*
How do you do it? I have Command Prompt but I don't know the right wording for it on how to open it.

Sorry if this has been done before or if it's like... The most obvious thing in the world XD

After Googling "command prompt usage", I found this link. Giving it a very brief perusal, it looks like it should provide enough for you to get started. Hope that helps. Mouser X over and out.

All righty, I looked up some quick tutorials, and it's much easier than I thought. I got some of the programs working XD
Thanks!
