Need help extracting files (AT3 not supported) by Layer at 4:01 AM EST on February 12, 2011
Hi,

I tried to convert AT3 files that have a bitrate not supported by SonicStage. I got no success with Goldwave and HiMDRenderer.

Here're sample : http://hotfile.com/dl/103913870/47a997e/samples.rar.html

Thx

This is from a PS3 game. HiMDRenderer only supports stereo, 44khz files and these are 6 channel, 48khz, 256kbps ones that only work with Sound Forge.

Is there another alternative to Sound Forge ? I don't like it.

Thx

I'm also having trouble here opening AT3 files from Marvel VS Capcom 3. (samples here)

I even tried Sound Forge, but it tells me that "An error occured while opening a codec."

For the MvC3 AT3 files, you need to run the at3_to_aa3+smpl script on them:

http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?p=42443#p42443

Download QuickBMS, paste that code into a new txt file, rename it from .txt to .bms, run QuickBMS, pick the .bms file you just made as your script, select all the at3 files, then pick what directory you want the new files to be in. You'll get new aa3 files that you can open up in Sound Forge.

You can even inject the loop points (.smpl files) back into the wavs, just check a few posts down on that page for the at3_wav_smpl_inject script.
