VGMToolbox Help: Failed extraction / NDSTo2SF; SDAT Finder by PZEL at 4:30 PM EST on March 6, 2011
Hi, I was wondering if somebody could provide me with assistance...

I'm using VGMToolbox in order to extract the music files from the game Zombie Daisuki, however, each time I go through the NDSTo2SF process all I get is the following:

No extractable SSEQ/STRM/SWAR data found.
Searching for SWAVs
Searching for ADXs

I tried SDAT Finder, but nothing comes up.

Any help will be wholly appreciated.

EDIT: To clarify, I go through all the processes mentioned and nothing is extracted.

Those messages mean that the tools cannot extract the audio data used by that game.

From what I see here, it sounds like a custom driver is used for the game.

Argh, crap, I was fearing that... v.v,

It's a shame 'cause the game has some really great music (and the game is quite entertaining, too).

There's no possible fix to that...perhaps in a foreseeable future? Guess I'll have to try and get the music by playing the game and trying one of those SFX muting codes (if there are any).

if you manage to extrapolate the music by whatever means, i'd be interested :) the music is by Soyo Oka (at least in part), and i'm not sure there's an OST planned.

Yeah, sadly it seems there won't be an OST release. =/

I'll gladly inform you (and everyone else) if I manage to get the music. Do you, by any chance, happen to know of a code that mutes SFX? I went on surfing the tubes and so far have found nothing...

Some slightly good news, seems at least two tracks are listenable. Using NDSTOOL, you can get some .SAD files which are listenable with vgmstream:

ndstool.exe -x *.nds -d !ndstool
