Anyone have a mirror to the MDX archive? by RukarioGyiyg996 at 10:28 PM EDT on July 8, 2011
Before DreamHost shut down the vgm archive here there was a really huge MDX archive, and I wanted to take a look at this archive again to see if I can re-download a few packages I don't have on this machine currently.

Has Josh. W mirror this by any chance? I've gotten most of my stuff (non MDX related) from his mirrors just fine.

Here's a mirror of the latest archive. I have thousands of unsorted files that I'll probably throw on the tracker as well. I doubt I'll ever get to sorting them all at this point, but don't want them to be lost forever...

Thanks for that, much appreciated.

I don't care how badly unsorted this may be I'll find what I want.

Is there any way to do MDX files in Hoot?

If I'm not mistaken, you can just drag and drop an MDX file onto Hoot. Be sure to check the .ini files. One of them has a setting for a PDX folder. You can put all your PDX files in there, although I think it'll work fine if they're in the same folder as the MDX needing them. For anyone who doesn't know, PDX files contain samples that the the synth doesn't play.

Huh never knew that. I was trying to get them to show up in the list!

I'd try that as soon as I figure out how to resolve my "SideBySide configuration error" with the latest release of HOOT. Damn Microsoft and their VC++ redistributable DLL hell..

For now I'm still using in_mdx for Winamp even though the audio quality get's on my nerves after awhile.

Don't forget that KbMediaPlayer can handle MDX playback as well.

Edit: I've put the partially sorted collections on the tracker.
