Best N64 Music ever made by PdZ at 12:13 AM EST on November 13, 2005
Hello@all

I dont know, if someone also asked this but otherwise here is the question:

Which N64 Music/Usf-Set, N64-Music which isn't ripped here is the best u ever listened? Also why it is the best?

In my Opinion, the best I would say, is the Blast Corps music.Iam really sure that I choose this set. There are very much songs which are nearly perfect for my ears.If I hear songs like "Mission Description....usf" or "006.Simian Acress...usf" I feel very good :D.There are of course much songs in other N64 games which are great, but the Blast Corps music, I think, has a special flair.
Iam wondering how u think...

bay PdZ

I also want to add, that I don't think so, because of the fact, that I tagged the Blast Corps set...The reason for tagging HCS Blast Corps Set "was", that I really think Blast Corps roxx the house.

I'm not sure what you're asking here, you say "N64-Music which isn't ripped here", but then you go and name Blast Corps, which is ripped and released.

I mean,

If there is a set or music of N64 games beloved by someone which isnt yet released here, then he/she could post it here too.I only want to know, which N64 Musik is the best in your all eyes. Its no provocation.

edit: and Blast Corps music is the best music ever made for an/in a N64 Game, I THINK

There are too many masterpieces to narrow it down to just one good tune/set.

I think the Snowboard Kids soundtrack is a good one that no-one knows of (I know it's already ripped).

hmm, i really like the Music from Snowboard Kids (like Poobah) and of Cource Animal Crossing/Forest :)

(i know both games are ripped but who cares :P)

I don't know if hcs is the same, but I still don't get it.

And Majora's Mask is probably my favorite. The "Song of Healing" demo is great.

been a lurker here for a while :), anyways..

lots to list, but one of my only requests which i subbmited was forsaken 64. i remember enjoying the music, been trying for a while to find a copy of the game (available for pc as well) :(

PdZ, I totally agree with you. The Blast Corps soundtrack is, to my mind, the best one ever made. I love it, and when I discovered the USF format, it was the first thing I thought about. My second favourite is Diddy Kong Racing. But fortunately, both of them have been ripped. =) However, I really wish there were some feature in 64th Note, which would deal with those "dynamic tracks" : It would really be nice if we could choose to "switch on" or "switch off" some "channels", for example with the Boulder Canyon track. They do it in the soudntrack CD.

i disagree i persinaly like the tetrisphere thats all i can really remember music whise been so long and to many games later to remember that far back lol

is it just me, or does the unknown track in Blast Corps sound like an unused '(critical)' tune (for Magma Peak, Moon, Mercury andMars)? The spacevox-like sample in the background, the bass, the saw wave, it all fits with what 003 used (like all the other critical tunes sound like their main tracks). It's a bit short, but if there were a carrier stage using that song, it'd be pretty easy to see it playing as the warning comes up...

My 3 fav are Tetrisphere, The Next Tetris and Top Gear Rally (which is not ripped yet?)

I have the game and ROM but have not tried to rip yet.

I, for one, really like Chopper Attack. Dig that synth whistle!

you can download top gear rallys music on the authors homepage (barry leitch), its in fast tracker format.
even includes a previously unreleased titlescreen tune.

I looked around his webpage and couldn't find any of the top gear music there.. saw it listed but you couldn't download any of it... I remember some game for the 64 called top gear overdrive or something that had a pretty good rock soundtrack

for some reason the link isn't on his site anymore, but the page is still there:

MOD FILES SECTION

oops, looks like the files are gone, too

*cough*

You definitely don't want to go to this page and download tgrtit, tgrjtit, and tgr1-5.

Tiberious, it seems so that this Unknown Track has a connection to the Magma Track. But I dont find it anyway. There is no Cheat,Level or Hidden Place where this track is played.
