FAST Racing NEO WiiU be here. Jett Rocket Wii works now, probably other Shin'en OGL too.

@ChillyBilly - xwb_split worked fine with Akai Katana for me.

@marcuss - I mean xwb_split was used on DoA4, but an old version with a bug.
Using the .bms I posted repairs the XWB.

Is there a way or tool to rip game boy .gbs files? I'm interested on ripping some game boy demos music files but clearly the internet says it isnt as easy to achieve...

@bnnm thanks. I didnt try that script yet but i will when i get time. Thanks

@bnnm: Thanks for making it possible to play the Drill Land files! And yeah, I think the version of xwb_split I used earlier was faulty or something. I just downloaded the latest version and the files extracted just fine! Well, that's another 360 rip out of the way.... though that reminds me, I still gotta figure out a way to rip Omega Five's .paz files. None of the BMS scripts I've tried worked for it so far....

Anyways, a few new rips:

PS3

Chariot (Bunch of Wwise stuff)

de Blob 2 (It's not necessary to extract FSBs anymore, so I left them as-is (they just contain WAV files, anyway). The "en" folder has both sfx and jingles, but I didn't feel like sorting out all those files, lol)

Wii

Wii de Asobu: Chibi Robo!

Enjoy!

by ChillyBilly at 8:13 AM EDT on April 23, 2017
@Knurek, I just want to point out that, despite being compatible with the Mutant Nightmare extractor (which was originally intended for GC titles), Jikkyou Powerful Major League 2009 is a Wii rip, not GC (which was kind of already dead by the time '09 rolled around, lol). Otherwise, keep up the fine work! :)
by bnnm at 9:29 AM EDT on April 23, 2017
@Knurek - Seems the Winamp plugin must be compiled with unicode enabled for dual unicode files to work.
I tried some quick hacks but it's a bit more involved than I hoped; I'll add it to the "to-do" pile.

Meanwhile you can use the xmplay plugin, works fine with unicode but there is no config tho.

Here goes my PS2 rip:
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII

It contains [almost] every single .at2/at3 file extracted from the only archive file that has all the data(aside from movies, that is). I left it all untouched, since most of these files are undecodeable anyway.

EDIT: I almost forgot about this .at3 file. Here:

BTW, got a little something extra to add now that the Shin'en OGL files are playable:

FAST: Racing League (Wii)
by bnnm at 1:19 PM EDT on April 23, 2017
@AnonRunzes - DoC uses raw ATRAC3 data, can be GENH'd (ex. this script).
.at2 (vo/sfx) are 1ch + 0x60 block size.
.at3 (bgm) however are encrypted (I see XORed AT3 0xC0 blocks, many that are typical 0xA2000000 ... silent blocks). I can't figure out that stuff though, hopefully somebody else can help.
There is a single unencrypted one, etc/test.at3, which can be be decoded with 2ch + 0xC0 block size (0xC0=highest quality, not bad).
by AnonRunzes at 1:21 PM EDT on April 23, 2017
@bnnm - Well, thanks for that though.

GOW: Ascension by Sephirothkefka at 4:16 AM EDT on April 26, 2017
It took me awhile BUT i finally managed to rip Ascension. XVAG's appear to be quad channel MP3's (MPEG-1 layer 3 specifically) unlike the Sony ADPCM with the other titles at 48khz like GOW3. Also seems to use the old style of looping seen in 1 and 2 (no set loop points just loops naturally). There's also some .mids though I have no clue how they're used as they have a MIDI type header. Give me a few to upload the rest. I've only extracted those in one of the PSARC's. I guess the .streams inside said PSARC's threw a lot of people off as its just a psarc with zlib type compression.

I bring forth rips!

Gamecube

One Piece Grand Battle! Rush (This is the Japanese version, which had some content cut from the overseas releases)

PS2

One Piece: Around the Land (I feel almost certain that those INT files are some sort of variation of WAVs, judging from the bloated file sizes, but maybe that's just me, lol)

PS3

Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2013 (Easier to rip than Power Pro 2016 at least, heh)

Wii

Dewy's Adventure

More later!
by ChillyBilly at 12:09 AM EDT on April 30, 2017
As promised, more!

Gamecube

Kidou Senshi Gundam: Gundam vs. Z Gundam (The PS2 version was posted a while back, so I figured I'd do GC)

One Piece Treasure Battle!

PC

Attack Heroes (I hope this is complete.... it's a little tricky for me to tell with these Unity rips)

[url=https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2lMV7NovfEOVHI3eENZQno5QTg]Slice, Dice, & Rice
(Ditto)

PS2

Hudson Selection Vol. 2: Star Soldier

Speaking of the Hudson Selection series, I also looked into Cubic Lode Runner and Adventure Island (both being the GC versions), but I had trouble with these two. Both games' music come in these ".pdt" archives, and the only means I found to extract them, a program called PDTExt, doesn't seem to extract them properly. At least, when I tried playing the extracted files in foobar, the tracks sound fine for the first second or so, but then immediately becomes slow and distorted. I'm not sure if the problem is on my end, so I figured I'd post the archives themselves and see if anyone else comes across any issues (or can suggest an alternate extraction method):

Hudson Selection Vol. 1: Cubic Lode Runner (GC)

Hudson Selection Vol. 4: Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima (GC)

@Bnnm: I don't know of any other games using MC3s so it should be it, these five titles are the only VGs where one can stumble upon MPC3 codec; BTW thanks for finally implementing *.mc3 files into VGMstream!

@Marcusss: You can install Windows Media Series 9 or newer and use Stream Editor included in it; with the help of the latter I successfully demuxed 100% WMV videos I ever dealt with and didn't have a single problem with playback of resulting WMAs. Would you like to test it on any future *.wmv movies instead of relying entirely on VGMToolBox?

Best wishes!

And now for non-PC rips!

PS2

Berserk: Millennium Falcon Hen - Seima Senki no Shou (Not sure if I managed to grab all the movies.... some of the AFS files didn't extract properly for me. I demuxed as many as I could, though)

Nightshade

Viewtiful Joe 2 (Wanted to rip the first game too, but I couldn't extract that title's audio... I'm still looking into it, though)

Virtua Quest

PS3

Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2014

Xbox 360

Caladrius (Had issues with the PS3 version's audio a while back, so I went for this one instead)

The Last Remnant

So, about the Power Pro '14 rip.... it's Wwise, but since .wem files are playable now, I didn't need to do any conversion this time. Hence, looping tracks! ;) And with that being said, I have one more surprise:

Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2016 ver. 2.0 (PS3)

^Yep, I went and re-ripped the whole thing! Enjoy the (properly looped) tunes, guys!

Random rip:

Howdy guys. Thanks to the cooperation with hcs I was able to implement logging in at vgm.hcs64.com with this forum's account info. And as the first feature for logged in users thanks to the cooperation with Josh I just finished a simple form for uploading contributions straight to joshw.info so Knurek doesn't have to search for them at random other places. Hope it works, you like it and make good use of it. ^^
by Knurek at 11:05 AM EDT on May 8, 2017
I implore everyone not uploading to Google Drive to use the site uploader, you have no idea how troublesome some of these one-click sites are.
(People using GDrive are also welcome to switch, but that's not a requirement)
by Vector Harbor at 12:43 PM EDT on May 8, 2017
@Knurek

It's okay for me because i'll upload to Mediafire.
by marcusss at 12:47 PM EDT on May 8, 2017
@knurek So we upload to the server and just post the link here pointing to the game hey. I guess we have to try to stick with the vgm upload layout such as game (year)(company). So we shouls have to get that right first before uploading.

I'm sure it was a hassle checking everywhere here constantly for added links. At least now we can just keep an eye on vgm.hcs64.com ;)

Anyway will upload some stuff over the next few days so look forward to directly uploading here.
by Nisto at 2:08 PM EDT on May 8, 2017
@Knurek, I tried to log in via SFTP (using FileZilla) with the info from the hyperlinked forum post shown when logged in, but I'm not able to connect. Is the host the same for SFTP as standard SSH? I've tried *sftp, *ftp, *ssh as the suffix, but none work.
by hcs at 2:59 PM EDT on May 8, 2017
What suffix? Just connect to vgm-ssh.joshw.info via sftp (sftp is over ssh).

The subdomain suffix, as underlined here:

vgm-ssh.joshw.info

And that's the exact host I've been trying to connect to. FileZilla simply says "ssh_init: Host does not exist". FileZilla uses port 22 - is that correct, or do you use something else for SFTP?
by Knurek at 3:42 PM EDT on May 8, 2017
@folks: No need to clean up the naming scheme, etc. Just upload stuff, I'll get it, apply cleanups and then reupload to proper archives.
by hcs at 4:00 PM EDT on May 8, 2017
@Nisto: A DNS issue, maybe? Try 192.99.47.89

Port 22 is correct.
by Nisto at 4:12 PM EDT on May 8, 2017
Okay, that seems to .. almost work. Now I'm getting "Network error: Permission denied". So I guess I'll have to ask: is the username and password still the same?

EDIT: never mind, it was the firewall. Damnit.

by hcs at 4:15 PM EDT on May 8, 2017
Yes, the given credentials work, I just tried it out today.

I can't say I have any idea what that error from filezilla means. A bit of googling suggests it's probably related to your firewall, though, so try seeing if you have allowed outgoing connections only to particular servers?

Hey Marcusss, big thanks for Duke Nukem: Manhattan project gamerip but why were VO files & even SFX tracks included in your package? Was presence of famous quotes by the main character a part of the experience or did voice clips play some different role?
Of course thnx for posting that rip of yours but I hope you won't ever upload such sets directly to JoshW.Info... I thought VGM Archives were only intended to be a giant library of music rips in their streamed form, not a collection of just any audio extracted from videogame archives.
Later!
PS. BTW Kudos for the excellent job on Metal slug XX, Viewtiful Joe 2 & especially The last remnant, all those are really nice rips! I believe all your future releases are gonna be just as good!
by marcusss at 7:05 PM EDT on May 9, 2017
@Ultrafighter Sorry, normally I only include music so must have missed those voice files.I am not interested in voice files...well except video rips which contain music and audio together.

@bnnm Kudos on cracking the .OGL files. Sorry I didn't acknowledge you before, I didn't notice anyone mention it.

Does anyone have the audio files to the Neo Future DLC pack, or was that never ripped?
by Ultrafighter at 1:54 AM EDT on May 10, 2017
@Marcusss: I think so! In any case I'm eager to try out some new rips of yours so I'm looking forward to upcoming releases!

BTW I'm sorry I made an enormous mistake in regard to the authorship of VJ2 & TLR rips, those 2 were definitely ChillyBilly's sets. I hope he'll not upload any gamerips with SFX to Josh's servers (he posted at least a pair of such rips although he forewarned everyone that he forgot to exclude non-musical sound effects from his archives).
Also his 1st pack from Monster hunter: Frontier G would only benefit if all currently unplayable tracks were given some kind of prefix (like "(undec) " or "(inconv) " or something).

Cheers!

@bx: what's the point of tri-Ace sets?
We have the GENH rips which seem to play fine with VGMStream, where your AAC files don't seem to (using latest bnnm compile).

Are you planning on adding support for them or can I just stick with the GENH versions?

@marcusss: nothing yet in the upload folder, are you finished with them?

Yeah i already finished uploading about 4 or 5 using my broswer and upload function of that vgm page

Dungeon seige iii
Tmtn mutants in manhattan
Looney tunes acme arsenal

Where do they go? The folder under my name if not using filezilla? I guess they would since we.have to log in before we can upload.hey.

And a few more xbox360 rips.

The website said they uploaded successfully.

Currently uploading Life is strange xbox 360 rip ~ 500mb or so

Hey Marcus, thanks for using the site! According to the error log it seems you hit a limit I hadn't taken care of yet so that's rectified now. Really sorry for the hassle.

If you or others come across further issues please let me know.

Edit: Just tested the config change and can confirm the limit you ran into is lifted now.

No problem. I started reuploading some stuff.
Thanks
by ChillyBilly at 10:19 PM EDT on May 12, 2017
Well, I already knew I could directly upload rips to this site, but I've always felt more comfortable with using external sources, so I'll stick with GDrive for now, I think. That being said, I've got some goodies to post:

PC

Beat da Beat

Cat Girl Without Salad: Amuse-Bouche (More Jake Kaufman is never a bad thing :))

Cluckles' Adventure

Pixel Shinobi Nine Demons of Mamoru

Rakuen

Shio

PS3

Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2012 Ketteiban

Xbox 360

DoDonPachi Daioujou Black Label Extra

DoDonPachi Saidaioujou

^My apologies in advance if any of the above rips contain any SFX, particularly the PC stuff (coincidentally, I already finished uploading before I noticed Ultrafighter's post, lol). I generally try to be careful about keeping out sound effects, but every now and then some of those suckers tend to slip past me, and well.... it just can't be helped, y'know? :p

BTW, I tried taking another crack at Phantom Breaker Battlegrounds, although this time it's the original 360 version. Unfortunately, like the Vita port, the data's made up of a bunch of header-less, extension-less files. Can I once again ask anyone (maybe bnnm?) to check out the game's data and figure out how to extract the music? I've got the files uploaded right here:

Phantom Breaker Battlegrounds data (360)

^Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

I uploaded ~6 files or so via ftp which completed so hopefully you have them all now

@marcuss: Life Is Strange (XB360X).7z and Dungeon Siege III (XB360).zip unfortunately both got truncated at about 350 MB. RAMBO THE VIDEO GAME (XBOX360).7z at around 8 MB.
Also, what's the PINBALL HALL OF FAME THE WILLIAMS COLLECTION (XBX360) -- Music.rez file?
by Knurek at 2:09 AM EDT on May 13, 2017
Also, ChillyBilly, please do supply original files when playable by VGMStream.
Beat da Beat uses FSB5 Vorbis, yet the files you uploaded are RIFF PCM.

Same with Shio and probably dozen of your previous rips. Whatever tools you're using for Unity games, they are not doing their job.
by ChillyBilly at 2:50 AM EDT on May 13, 2017
@Knurek:Yeah, the Unity tool I use always extracts everything as WAV files. I admittedly found that strange myself, but the program I used has been the most reliable Unity ripper I've used so far, so I didn't think too much of it. But now that you mention it, perhaps it is a good time to seek an alternate method if my Unity rips are indeed faulty. I'll definitely be sure to look into it.
by bxaimc at 3:14 AM EDT on May 13, 2017
Where is the music stored in Beat da Beat?
by marcusss at 4:00 AM EDT on May 13, 2017
@bxaimc

Aaargh really??

I will try again when i get home tonight then.

Williams rez file has music but i cannot.extract it. I figured you guys might have a chance. I can just use external links but figured using filezilla i might as well add it to the queue.

Apologies if that was wrong. I usually use external links. I want the music but unable to do anything with that .rez file

Ok no problems.

by bnnm at 8:21 PM EDT on May 13, 2017
bxaimc added tri-Ace X360/PS3 support so you can remove the GENHs since they should be the same (I think, recheck first).
But since the .aac ext is common they need to be renamed as .laac or .ace (your choice).

Added some PS2 .XWB/XWH games, with the form and FTP thingies:
- Arc the Lad: End of Darkness (PS2) [re-rip]
- Bokura no Kazoku (PS2)
- Okage: Shadow King (PS2) [3 streams only, rest is sequenced]

Arc the Lads had their .XWH in a .BIN file, extracted with this bms.
To split .XWB/XWH/XWS with multiple streams (ex. Genji) use this bms.

Other .rxw could be reripped (ex. Genji, Arc Twilight, Wild Arms 4/5) for completeness (no sound diffs, probably).
by Knurek at 12:30 AM EDT on May 14, 2017
@bnnm: thanks for the heads up, since .ace is a not so common archive extension, I'll go with .laac

//EDIT: Is what I'd say, but since only .ace is recognized by the VGMStream build you posted, .ace it is...

by marcusss at 8:35 AM EDT on May 14, 2017
I might take a look at it if i can find the game. I think i had it somewhere
by AnonRunzes at 12:20 PM EDT on May 14, 2017
I have now reripped Genji.

This new set includes demuxed .PSS audio(.ac3 and .ss2 respectively) as well as splitted .xwb/.xwh files using my latest version of the ps2_xwb_xwh_splitter.bms script. It trumps the current set we have right now.

It weighs beyond what is allowed to upload at vgm.hcs64.com(about 415MB), and I don`t use SSH/SFTP for uploading. So I ask whoever maintains that site to up the upload limit a bit just so I can upload this set alone.
by Knurek at 1:07 PM EDT on May 14, 2017
Just split it into two parts, no need to change the limit for that.
by AnonRunzes at 2:49 PM EDT on May 14, 2017
Krunek, can you actually check if I actually uploaded the new set into two parts(.000 and .001 respectively)? Because even after uploading the damn thing, I get warnings about ISPs and stuff.
by Knurek at 3:21 PM EDT on May 14, 2017
Genji set went fine, will upload soonish.
by AnonRunzes at 5:22 PM EDT on May 14, 2017
Okay, I have two more sets to go through(apart from Genji and another obscure game who had its name changed in pretty much every continent it was released on).
by marcusss at 8:56 PM EDT on May 14, 2017
Hi again. I just uploaded a few big sets so hopefully no more errors like last time. Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen was massive to go through. Ahah. For me, Tenchu Z sounds like Muramasa so was delighted to have that game to rip.

A few x360 games are like 14-20gb so a bit of a pain to sift through even though they are quite old but i bet some pc rips you guys are doing are larger. :p

Cheers.

I noticed now for Blood knights some se not vgm was left in the archive but oh well :p

@Knurek: Hi, I'm wondering if PlayStation Minis are ignored altogether or stored somewhere else (not psp.joshw.info but psf#.joshw.info or something). For example rips from Taito Type X platform can only be found here and Sega NAOMI sets are located there so my theory is quite realistic... I guess.
To name a few titles 4x4 Jam & Car jack streets are currently missing from archives. Also there're no gamerips for Manhunt 2 along with Scarface: Money. Power. Respect so PSP archives aren't absolutely complete without these two games. It'd be most welcome if they were added at some point if only for completeness sake. The 1st one uses mostly VAG mono and the 2nd one utilizes most standard AT3+ so both titles shouldn't be hard to rerip (I only have Alpha23's releases for these video games and they're now inferior because of conversion to AA3).

@AnonRunzes: Hello, it's so nice to see you making better versions of old rips or providing some brand new sets for VGM archives! I have a question related to your ShellShock: Nam '67 project.
Are you going to add your Xbox rip whenever it's finished thus backing it up on JoshW servers? I'd really like to try out such a set when it's complete and ready to be uploaded (I listened to that ancient PS2 rip with mostly licensed songs and didn't quite like it but it could be drastically incomplete anyway). I know that merely stereo MSS files are supported ATM but I can surely wait for you to check entire sound folder and pull only BGM out of that SFX, VO & other sounds galore.
BTW having demuxed audio from videos would be great too, I hope you'll include them as well as background music. I wish your good luck ripping this game!

Bye all!

Edit: I forgot to ask whether iOS or even Android subdomains are gonna be added any time soon? I presume there's a really small number of such sets right now but it'd still be neat if some Bnnm's rips weren't lost when respective links to file hosting sites become inactive (like both "The world ends with you" variants, one for Android and another one for iOS, or Limbo for iOS or some other gamerips by him).
Later!

PSMinis should be in the PSP folder.
I don't think I managed to get all of them, but there's quite a few of them available.
I seem to recall having problems with Scarface - the music files were compressed, so first few seconds of each track would play okay, and then it'd crash VGMStream. Might've been a different game though, will look into it later.
by AnonRunzes at 10:03 AM EDT on May 15, 2017
@Ultrafighter - Well, I could include just about every audio file out there that is Xbox version of that game. However I don`t plan on including any voices and sounds whatsoever, since they weren`t stored in .MSS format.
by marcusss at 10:10 AM EDT on May 15, 2017
Edited..
Glad the rips all uploaded without issues.

Damn The Crew has some cool/funky music. Glad to have ripped that one among the other X360 rips I did :P
..

Quick question... Do you think it is a good idea to perhaps have the https://vgm.hcs64.com/ link somewhere at the top of forum as sticky or something; so new and old people can check easily ..or is it meant to be a secret and hidden? :-) Reason I am asking is because releases probably won't show on the forums much if everyone is uploading to that directly.

Cheers

@Knurek: There're some 3+ minute tracks in Timo's version of "Scarface: Money. Power. Respect" and a few compositions are even the same as in PC\PS2\WII\X ports of the title (I mean "The world is yours"). His rip contained tons of duplicates for many score pieces though.
All in all soundtrack for that game looked like seriously abridged TWIY's OST so it's no big deal if there's no respective set in PSP Archives for that VG. BTW his Manhunt 2 PSP gamerip contained quite a few unsupported or simply unplayable VAGs so there might be a problem dealing with variation of ADPCM which RockStar used in that port.

@AnonRunzes: Actually I was only encouraging you to try and find as many BGMs as you can (be it mono or stereo, MSS or not), check out all playable / decodable SFX & VO files and probably discover some additional music, demultiplex movies, include resulting audio streams and make the most complete ShellShock: Nam '67 Xbox gamerip out there. Of course, you can exclude some aforementioned steps if you don't feel like listening to hours of non-musical stuff.
However it'd be awesome if you created the best rip available. I'm sure it'd far surpass that old PS2 thing!

Cheers!

@ mariofan12ify

I just uploaded my rip of Banjo Kazooie - nuts & bolts (511MB). I kept the original .xwb extension so the songs loop. The only thing is it is not tagged just original filenames.

I tried to include all jingles etc.. so hopefully I didn't miss anything.

I have the game in case i missed something.. i can go back to it.

It takes a bit to show here.

Had a little free time, so have a few XBLA rips:

Jetpac Refuelled

Mr. Driller Online

Super Contra

^And to clear up any confusion about the numbering schemes for Mr. Driller and Super Contra, it's because the prior "tracks" for both rips were just SFX, which I removed (though I can upload them anyway if there's anyone interested). Otherwise, enjoy!

Was the NEO Future DLC ever ripped for Fast Racing NEO?
by Ultrafighter at 12:56 PM EDT on May 17, 2017
Hey everyone, I'm here to try and do some kind of homework in regards to some of my (not so) old rips. I'm currently unable to do it all by myself so anyone willing to help is pretty much welcome.
Since someone reripped TimeShift for X360 and Marcusss seems to be willing to provide most if not all fresh XBox 360 gamerips recently I decided that I could write down all titles which I ripped not so long ago. Such a list should have all VGs which can be easily reripped and should actually be redone.
Keep in mind however I intentionally excluded many ancient rips of mine because this list would be way too long if I included them too. So here it goes, an enormous list of my old mistakes and minor flaws in numerous rips I posted here (almost all were added to joshw.info at some point):

5.1 XMA->3 stereo XMAs (I didn't do it way too often when compared to Timo's ripping list but still such 6 channel tracks should now be re-obtained):
Fist of the North star: Ken's rage;
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010.

FSB->MP3 (with help of FSBext, I presume FSBii should do the job better nowadays):
The Bourne conspiracy (PS3) (there're initially only single-track FSBs if memory serves);
Transformers: Revenge of the fallen (PC) (having this great original score in your collection would be awesome, I ripped it many years ago with mostly FSB MPEG but didn't save complete soundtrack).

FSB->XMA (re-extracting these with FSBii instead of FSBext should do the trick I suppose):
Hunted: The demon's forge;
The Bourne conspiracy (X360 obviously);
Transformers: Revenge of the fallen;
Wheelman.

MSF->MP3:
Hunted: The demon's forge (PS3).

No (Mini)USFs (?) or sequenced tracks probably missing from my NDS sets (I was absolutely new to that so I unpacked Stream.Dat or something with Alpha23's script and only listened to STRMs; there're very few of such rips anyway):
Hot wheels: Battle force 5;
Hot wheels: Track attack.

WEM->OGG (Bnnm himself considers reripping all WW2OGG'ed sets unnecessary since looping data was preserved in resulting *.ogg tracks but still maybe someone feels desire to make his own rip for any of these titles):
UFC Undisputed 3 (PS3/X360);
WWE 2k15 (PS3);
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 (PS3/X360).

WMV->WMA (I don't see any problem with that but maybe someone wants to treat videos the way Bnnm processed *.wmv files in his Devil may cry 4 (X360) or The king of fighters 12 (X360) rips):
Call of Juarez;
Call of Juarez: The cartel;
Eat lead: The return of Matt Hazard (X360);
Fist of the North star: Ken's rage (X360);
Full auto;
Guilty gear 2: Overture;
Kingdom under fire: Circle of doom;
Nail'd (PC/X360);
Onechanbara: Bikini samurai squad;
Rumble roses XX (there's one really swell rock instrumental playing when credits roll so this title has to be reripped just for that!);
Sniper: Ghost warrior (PC/X360);
The warriors: Street brawl (X360);
Transformers: The game (X360).

XMA2->XMA1 (or any previously undecodable XMA to XMA variant convertible with ToWAV):
Infernal: Hell's vengeance (I never compiled full gamerip for this title and haven't ever uploaded it anywhere but maybe it's for the better: to make those given *.xma files decodable I had to remove original headers first than rebuild streams to XMA1 using XMA Parse and finally add new headers recognized by ToWAV with respective BMS script written by Alpha23; there're no new or exclusive compositions compared to original PC release but it's still a truly energetic driving score! I can even post some samples from both ports of the game, be it transmogrified XMA or untouched OGG);
NeverDead;
TRON: Evolution.

XWB->WAV (big endian PCM on X360 platform if I recall correctly):
Over G fighters (small rocking score but entire OST is encoded using that troublesome codec);
Perfect Dark zero (I never posted a link to the set as I wasn't too sure that bigger part of BGM was processed the right way).

XWB->XMA (audio banks to individual tracks with different extension, XWB split is now called for), X360 ports only:
Call of Juarez;
Call of Juarez: The cartel;
Crackdown a.k.a. Riot act (maybe xwb_split will work on its original Music.xwb but UnXWB couldn't extract a single file out of it);
F.E.A.R.: Files;
Full auto (both my & Alpha's versions);
Guilty gear 2: Overture (there's global BGMpack.xwb but all cutscene XMA files were in single-track XWBs BTW);
Kingdom under fire: Circle of doom;
Onechanbara: Bikini samurai squad;
Perfect Dark zero (I'm not sure I publicly released it because of some other issues);
Rumble roses XX (I never posted rip of full version anywhere so replacement of demo set on JoshW.Info is still welcome);
Sniper: Ghost warrior;
Superstars V8: Racing (I once ripped that tiny soundtrack for myself but backing it up in VGM Archives wouldn't be bad too).

Thanks for attention, I hope some person becomes interested enough to rerip at least selected videogame titles from my huge list! Let us all participate a little bit and help make HCS64 stream VGM collection even better than before!
See you! Ultrafighter over and out.

Hello all! Big thanks to just anyone (Knurek, Marcusss or someone else) who ripped The dishwasher: Vampire smile and especially Redout. It's so nice to have streamed rip for the former, be it original XBLA game or PC re-release, and I'm really looking forward to listening to untouched BGM layers from the latter.
It might be an unusual experience but that's what gamerips were invented for, am I right? I mean if ripper mixed those layers from RedOut and possibly re-encoded given lossless audio then there's no real difference between his rip & an OST. In any case I'm so interested to try out those initial audio stems coming straight from game files / archives!
Later!

I'm not sure who ripped the pc vgm recently but they are pretty good.. i saw that dishwasher vampire smile rip. I want to try that out later. What an unusual name for a game hah :)

Hi Marcusss, don't feel sad for re-ripping TimeShift (X360)! I'm not attacking you for that or even saying such re-rips are bad, in fact I'm even encouraging you or anyone else to redo as many VGs I mentioned as you can.

Here are some most recent additions to my "might / should be re-ripped" list:

5.1 XMA->3 stereo XMAs:
NeverDead (2 or 3 CS tracks without any real music in them);
WWE All stars (very few cutscene or entrance tracks though).

FSB->MP3:
Supremacy MMA (PS3) (personal unreleased gamerip of mine, I haven't backed up full ver. of it in the cloud so feel free to redo it; not everyone's gonna like its licensed instrumentals though so be warned everyone!);
WWE All stars (PS3) (usage of FSB MPEG was required back at that time but maybe now both 5.1 & stereo/mono interleaved FSB MP3s are playable in vgmstream right away; I never upped my rip anywhere or even posted it somewhere so you're very welcome to re-rip that platform and add it to streamed VGM archives for completeness sake).

FSB->XMA:
Stoked (pretty big licensed soundtrack, many folks compare it to trademark compilations coming from annual FIFA games; Stoked is really proud of using lots of eclectic songs from all over the world, there're quite a few instrumentals too so it's not your typical pop tracklist from a standard videogame about extreme sports);
WWE All stars (most tracks, be it ingame compositions or wrestler themes, stingers or loops);
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 (ringtones and some other SFX only).

WMV->WMA:
Stoked;
Superstars V8: Racing (PC/X360);
Transformers: Revenge of the fallen (X360);
Wrestle kingdom (X360)
.

XWB->XMA:
Amped 3 (I ripped this VG title then AlphaTwentyThree made his own version of natively encoded rip but it still needs to be redone with help of XWBsplit instead of UnXWB and/or QuickBMS scripts; don't forget there's much more VGM in the game than you can ever imagine, first 1.5+ GB Music.xwb then all banks with prefix "Awesome(ness)" and finally some pretty long unique tracks in UI\CS XWB archives; a few hundreds of diverse licensed tracks per game is Amped series standard however).

Keep doing what you do best everyone! Cheers!
by marcusss at 4:12 AM EDT on May 19, 2017
@Ultrafighter. No problem. If i come across any of them i could take a look. I was also curious about the amped series too.

Regarding FSBs it is great to see all these 5,6 channel ones with insane mpeg bitrates. Vgmstream calls them mpeg layer iii 6 channel @ 5000kbps for.example but aten't they just simple mpeg 1 or 2 not 3.. i know some can have multiple mpeg layer iii channels mixed together ina fsb container but not @ 5000-10000kbps??
by Ultrafighter at 7:39 AM EDT on May 19, 2017
@Marcusss: You're probably dealing with multi-layered MPEG streams like those found in console ports of Wheelman. Each Badolato or Rednote track had to be de-interleaved into 3 stereo MP3s with help of fsb_mpeg.exe.
Even if you split Badolato.fsb or Rednote.fsb into individual tracks with FSBII it's not likely you'll be able to play resulting custom FSBs holding one composition per file. I guess it's not even needed as there's no real point in trying to play such pseudo 6 channel files as you're going to hear some kind of cacophony instead of clean music. Imagine hearing this plus that plus the third layer (I don't have it at hand right now) at the same time!
by abuse of circ at 12:15 AM EDT on May 20, 2017
did kingshriek ever share his python script for ripping GBC games that use MusyX? I'd like to try it on the Mythri prototype, which features the whole soundtrack but which only works on real hardware or no$gmb. Unless some unthinkably bored person wants to disassemble it and figure out how to get it working in (MA)MESS..

Got a few 360 rips done:

Charlie Murder

The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai

The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile

Ketsui: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi Extra

Mamoru-kun wa Norowarete Shimatta! (No, I did not tamper with these files in any way.... this game's audio is legitimately made up of WAVs)

'Splosion Man

Strania

Triggerheart Exelica

^I swear, it's a total coincidence that I ripped the Dishwasher/Charlie Murder games around the same time the PC versions came out, lol. Also, something I should mention about the 'Splosion Man rip is that while I did demux the movies, the resulting audio files won't play for me for some reason. Maybe they'll play fine for you guys, though? If not, I can just upload the movies themselves later on. Just give the word!

And here's a few more goodies:

PC

Brute (Didn't have time to sort the SFX out of this one.... sorry, Ultrafighter!)

Fat Mask

A Hole New World

Trigger Time

Xbox 360

Super Robot Taisen XO

^Oddly, I had the same issue with the SRW rip as I did with 'Splosion Man as far as the demuxed movies go (they just don't play for me, for some reason). Also, despite the huge sizes of the .xwbs, none of the tracks loop, oddly enough. I'd personally like to chalk that up to it being a relatively early 360 title, but.... eh, whatever. Anyways, enjoy!
