BTW for simple 5.1 BIKs it'd be cool to be able to mix all 6 mono channels on fly but I guess implementing something like that to VGMStream would do it more bad than good. I mean sometimes there's language-specific central channel and there're many variations of it, say a Bink vid contains 5 channels with BGM/SFX and 5 other ones with VO mixed with some other sound effects. It'd not be evident (for plugin at least) which ones should be mixed and played at once.
@Knurek: I'd like to point out that there's currently a small typo in set name, it's "Ridge Race Slipstream (2013-12-19)(Namco Bandai) iOS.7z" in Mobile category while it should definitely be "Ridge Racer..." according to GameFAQs. Just thought you'd like to fix it while it's hot.

@ Ultrafighter I just updated vgmstream and Transformers plays, though a slight pause when 6ch songs loop. Maybe will ask bnnm or probably that's how it is? Most songs start loop 5 secs before the end and pause for a sec and loop.. Game has 2 Ch, 4 Ch and 6 Ch music. Love the Theme Music :-) Wish the songs were longer than 2 min though..

Boy, I really gotta thank Polokus again for that tip about the filenames... it actually made the A4O rip go a lot faster compared to Full Frontal Assault (despite the former being the bigger game!). Speaking of FFA, I plan to redo it in the not-so-distant future with the proper filenames... not now though, lol. Anyways, enjoy!
Now you're really close to how 3DS works - you can get data directly from Sony servers and decrypt that (most of the time) on a PC.
@ChillyBilly: Huge thanks for Ratchet & Clank - All 4 one as it seemingly has good chances to become my third or even second favorite in the series (placed in personal TOP right after Deadlocked \ Gladiator and Up your arsenal)!
I have to note however that many (most) files in your set had to be treated the way I processed those 23 double-stream XVAGs coming from your Full frontal assault rip and this procedure greatly increased total playtime (almost 4 times longer!). I even made an upload for my final version this time since there're 123 (!!) tracks initially containing 2 streams each (VGMstream will only play the very 1st one mind you). So here it is, I hope it saves you some time because you don't need to do all that splitting work by yourself.
@Marcusss: Hi, big thnx for Transformers gamerip that I've just grabbed off JoshW server! Now original movie audio can be finally obtained by anyone interested (there's merely 1 audio channel out of expected 6 in that ancient X360 set plus Bink audio is transcoded and not streamed there!).
May I ask you to look into Iron man (2008) VG which was based on the very first movie? I tried PS2 rip (not streamed but whatever) by Kataah and liked VGM pretty much. However this exact port is not so easy to rip as I imagined: everything but vids is packed in 2 bigfiles and I didn't find most common codec (or better say container) identifiers (like "SShd" or "FSB#") in any of those archives.
Anyway I also checked PC ver. some time ago but couldn't find many tracks, most of my favorite compositions remained PS2 exclusives. I've got some samples from this specific platform and maybe they can instantly hook you up and make you curious to try and rip any other ports of the title.
BTW I've just realized that music pieces I upped remind me of "Fall of Cybertron" VGM a bit so this should add a few more points of interest to my small sampler. It has some similarities with film score too.
Also I found out recently that there's an OST for a game named Pyroblazer. I got myself some custom soundtrack eons ago but I was looking for any different variant that time. Would you be enough interested to probably assist me in my search for that album (or another, preferably streamed rip)? This VG is a futuristic racing title and lots of varied tracks were composed for it, I mean this score is way more diverse than Ballistics or your typical Wipeout installment. I'd be content with an official release as well as just any gamerip that you're able to find or do yourself.

I've got yet another good idea: I think that trying out VGM from Crash time series would prove useful for you if you liked Asphalt 8 & Ridge racer soundtracks so much. Music from Crash time VGs is noisy as in the former game and fast paced as in the latter.
I'm especially interested in CT2 & CT3 for X360, Crash time 4: The syndicate for PS3 or X360 and Alarm for Cobra 11: Crash time for PC. If you're curious to check something out beforehand I can compile some tiny samplers for all those installments (I ripped most of them myself off PC versions).
And the last thing: all 4 CT titles I mentioned should be ridiculously easy to rip and are supposed to utilize the same audio codecs on PC/X360 (actually they might use exactly the same WMAs on both platforms) so you shouldn't be afraid of attempting to rip 'em. This assumption comes from experience with console ports of CT5 and comparison of both platforms of Crash time 1.

Ahh it is not finished yet.. Just a sample :-) Yes some pieces almost sound like from a movie so is good to see games go that route.
I think there are a fair few files to check for music still so hopefully a few more good ones show up. This rip was from the Android version though if I remember, the iOS version I had was identical. I wanted to spend more time but just couln't perfect the rip any further. I will try to get the remaining stuff at some stage and post the rip as official here.
If anyone is a great ripper feel free to have a go as well at that game as it has great music !
I will try to look out for crash time. Some car games are only on Android/ios so it is a pity if they choose the low bitrate mp3 route like 64-128kbps. Therefore I always welcome racing game music on all platforms especially when the quality is high.
I ripped Flashout 2 recently on ANDROID and music is pretty pumping so look out or it. That was another that had the music all packed into 1 resource file with not much to go on as far as splitting up the files, and nothing is named.. o.O
It is great to see some more Vita rips from Knurek too. Some games I have a iOS rip and now a VITA rip.. e.g. Oddworld on iOS was fairly low quality but I see the VITA version appears to have higher quality music.

I extracted Resogun from the Vita rip and seems to be unplayable wav. with RIF/JUNK header so assuming it is IMA.
It looks like it is possibly better quality than the PS3 .wem rip as the file sizes of the songs are 1mb bigger or so. Maybe bnnm can get it working?
Shows as 48Khz 192kbps Wav length 3:57 but doesn't play WOuld be great to get it working I have the soundtrack already but hey more VGM supported the better !

PS. I'm just wondering if you have plans to rerip Transformers: Fall of Cybertron for PC (or more precisely try to extract FSBs out of given UE3 containers some other way). About Transformers, I can try to re download the game sometime and try to see if those "broken" files are due to ripping issue or just that is how they are as I didn't do much getting those files.
Sometimes Umodel has issues extracting music from UE games (like unknown version number eg) so I usually just use the option to extract the original file to the HDD and then use VGMTB to scan for vorbis as most use it or in this case a FSB scanner app.

@ Ultrafighter This guy made some songs from Battle Crasher SMASH IT which I ripped here. Great music, he released the original (Fah Noh Sah) which has some Electric guitar pieces. The game version is more melodic. He makes lots of nice music using different styles for Video Games. Most or all music can be downloaded which is a bonus :-)

@(!!!!!) - Dead Rising 4 is FMOD's "FADPCM" (unsupported), which could be based on MSADPCM I guess (interleave is 0x8c, also common in MSADPCM).
The Xbox 360 set of Sonic the Hedgehog is proof of it(my intent was to have a re-ripped set that includes all the demultiplexed audio, not just ones that contain "the music"), yet the PS3 set of the same game retains all of the demultiplexed audio files for some reason.
I noticed almost every set uploaded in march-april 2015 is one of those. They all have in common they were converted to XMA1 and have no loop info, many have wrong RIFF sizes and seem truncated.

BTW I checked all DR1 streams yesterday and they played fine.
It's a shame though DR4 isn't playable yet and it might be some time until these nasty FMOD's "FADPCM" files are implemented. Anyway I'm very curious about complete Dead rising 4 soundtrack since OST left me pretty much disappointed. That's why I'll definitely welcome addition of that FADPCM format to VGMstream even if I have to wait quite some time to finally see it happen.
@Marcusss: Big thnx for the heads-up, I'll check it out soon enough!
@AnonRunzes: I totally agree to you in regards to BGMs (I don't like it when in streamed rips "stg_aqa_b" or "twn_mission_fast" are renamed to "Aquatic base stage" or "Town mission (fast ver.)". It's not that I like initial "ugly" filenames much, it's just that they're to be expected in such rips so that they look much more authentic in streamed sets. And if someone wants to add some info to filename he should make it rather short and keep original name intact, I mean not trim or even delete given track name but add his custom tag to initial name, for example "stg_aqa_b (Aquatic base)" or "twn_mission_fast - Town mission (fast)").
With movies it's debatable though: I don't really appreciate it when there's just demuxed audio from credits and/or opening but I also don't see the need to include tracks containing merely SFX and/or VO (or sometimes just mono streams with speech unless they're separate channels of an original multi-channel mix).
But of course it's up to ripper to decide which files deserve to be in his final version and which ones don't.

some may think the rip wasn't correctly done if I skipped 3 or 4 video tracks because they only contained voice. The gap can be noticeable with tracks missing or cutscenese missing but well I really only have love for the music ;-)
I prefer to leave the vgm how it is, so some android games can be de45ea34112eacde blah blah e.g. I leave it unless the name was found somewhere in game's iso. I don't have timme to go checking vgmdb for matching names.
Heck quite a few games even have their music all packed into 1 large mp3 file without tags or any information so I just name them by order of the file, like 01. 02. etc.
I guess we should some day have a new ripping guideline or something addressing all the current issues.

Some Falcom games offer WAV or ADPCM during install, that's why there be WAVs. Many tracks have loop endings too.
Looping is done with extra text files (Falcom-style), except in VM Japan and Rinne where I couldn't find the files.

Though looking back, that was when I was using Mediafire as my main hosting site, so I guess it's not surprising I forgot due to switching hosts. A simple console utility that lets you parse links from *.joshw.info servers for massive downloads. (sorry for that traffic joshw)
Requirements: at least .NET Framework 4.5.2
How to use? Simple.
1. Input *.joshw.info domain (psf for example)
2.1 Press Enter 3 times to get all links to files in 0-9 and a-z directories.
2.2 Input two years in ascending order to filter with them by upload/update date (so you can get links to archives uploaded in some specific year)
3. Utility will generate .txt file with all parsed links so you can put it in some JDownloader or whatever download manager you use.

^Not gonna lie.... I kinda half-assed it with the Splatterhouse rip, lol. I got rid of as many SFX tracks as I could, but seeing as several of the smaller files contain little music snippets, I pretty much just gave it up partway through, so... yeah. Also, despite extracting the BNK files (which also contain little music snippets), I left the source files in, anyway. So... uh, laziness aside, enjoy, I guess?
And ChillyBilly: I can totally understand you in regards to Splatterhouse (2010)! I got myself such raw gamerip off VGM Legacy (!) thread on FFS forums back in the day and obviously found some pretty good tracks (among the ones which lasted at least 2-3 minutes, I guess they're called "prebaked" BGMs) but it wasn't worth my while to also check out dozens (!!) of split second guitar riffs or even snippets of drumming sounds.
