I realize that Raiden III isn't a Gamecube game (it's a PS2 game), but the music -is- in ADX format and is currently unplayable by in_cube.dll. I thought you guys (or possibly just hcs) might want to investigate and consider adding support for this new(?) ADX format.
Only bad news so far, it seems that the encoding is different. I can get it to play, but it sounds very bad. This must indeed be a new variant of the ADX format.
Hmm, if there's a new version/variant of ADX, in_cube won't be the only utility/player affected... do you think you'll have any luck reverse engineering the new format? Would recordings of the game's music provide any assistance?
No, I don't think I'll have any luck. The decoding isn't my strong point. If you do find a program that will play them, let me know, because disassembly is my strong point.
