Alright i see that brawlbox can view the files inside the brsar file (it's full of music, sound effects etc.) but when i export it thru that software it comes out as an unknown file which is still un-extractable, tryed renaming the file to rar/zip and no luck there either and it won't let me extract the folders or individual files it views in the brsar. I think i need some help. :(

Yes, renaming the file is totally going to change the file format and make other applications understand the file format.

I tryed that already, I renamed the unknown file that exported out of brawlbox to brstm, even rar at one point and it still didn't extract at all. :(

Updated that first link above ^ of the brsar file here and on another somewhat related subject: I extracted some files from the super mario galaxy 2 iso audiores folder and i was wondering are these midis in a .cit format?

Yep, im going to go out on a limb here and say there is no way to extract a brsar file. heh oh well i tryed. xD

Actually, all you need is an empty file (in which you save as an RWAV), HxD, and VGMStream. But you have to rip them one by one.

WoW :O it's been ages since anyones replied to this thread...but eh i've decided to give up on the issue but thanks for the suggestion anyways.

I saw in another forum a user had used HXD to extract psf2 files (or whatever the sound format is called for the ps2 games) from ps2 isos so thats pretty interesting.
