God of War 2 (PS2) Music Rip by ShadowStrangle55 at 11:11 PM EST on February 20, 2013

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me extract the music and sounds from God of War 2? Suffice to say, I'm a n00b at ripping and I could really use some assistance. I own the PS2 game disc, and I've attempted to extract the files on the disc via tools found on the web, but they haven't worked for me. If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it thanks.

I've taken a look at it, and I can tell that it is very incomplete. It doesn't contain all the music and it also seems that it skips some files (eg. from 001 to 006).

Okay, I reripped the PS2 game (both DVD layers this time), removed dupes and ambience tracks and came to 155 unique music tracks, totaling ~580 MB

Uploading to JoshW's server at the moment, should be done in two and a half hours.

I didn't do anything special, extracted datafiles from both DVD layers with VGMToolbox, extracted VPK files with Fastelbja's ADPCM Player, removed dupes and ambient/voice tracks and then uploaded. That's all.
