Dr. Mario 64 Tag Corrections by marioman at 8:40 AM EST on March 5, 2006

Thanks to a certain blessed division of certain Final Fantasy site, I have been able to download MP3s of the Dr. Mario 64 soundtrack. When Mouser tagged this set, I did not think that some of the tracks were tagged properly. (I am not saying anything bad about you Mouser - you did a good job.) However, I could not confirm this because I did not have the game or the soundtrack.

Anyway, now I have gone through and identified all of the tracks. My numbering system may be a little awkward, but I will try to label clearly.

Current Track# - Proper tag

01 - Title
02 - Select a Mode
03 - Fever
04 - Fever (Critical!)
05 - Chill
06 - Chill (Critical!)
07 - Cube
08 - Cube (Critical!)
09 - Que Que
10 - Que Que (Critical!)
11 - You Win
12 - You Win (Short)
13 - Vs. Rudy
14 - Vs. Rudy (Critical!)
15 - Story Mode 1
16 - Story Mode 4
17 - Level Clear
18 - You Lose
19 - You Lose (Short)
20 - Story Mode 3
21 - Story Mode 2
22 - Story Mode 5
23 - Credits
24 - Let's Try A New Challenge

In light of these changes, the track numbers/ordering will have to be changed. I just thought that I would bring this to Mouser's attention so the proper adjustments can be made.

Actually, my tags were based almost entirely on some MP3s I downloaded. If you have more accurate information, then please, by all means, I say we use it. Thanks for the info, and sorry the MP3s I had weren't tagged as good as yours were. :P

Yeah, I knew that one track was the "You Lost" theme from the original Dr. Mario, but I did not know if it had a different use in Dr. Mario 64.

So, do you want me to fix them, or do you want to fix them youself? I will be glad to do it, but it may take me a little while to get around to it. Nonetheless, it is your call.

Actually....I just got a few free minutes, so I decided to fix the tags myself. The only track that I am unsure about is the last one entitled "Let's Try Another Challenge." It seems that it could have a more descriptive name. Oh well, at least the tags are better now.

Hcs, did you get the updated miniusfs? I haven't heard from you since I submitted them, and I want to make sure they didn't mess up like the last time I sent you miniusfs.
