Paper Mario Sticker Star Unplayable BCSTMs by (!!!!!) at 2:52 PM EDT on May 23, 2014
I've found 7 bcstms in Paper Mario Sticker Star that are unplayable in the current version of vgmstream. I've noticed playable ones have "SEEK" in the header while in the unplayable ones "DATA" takes its place. Here's the unplayable files only with a working track thrown in for comparison's sake.
There's no ADPCM coeffiecients in those, and 0x30 is supposed to point to the start of the DATA section. I tried moving the sound data into some working BCSTMs, but there's no way to do it without having the right coeffiecients.
Edit: Actually, hold on. This isn't DSP. I'll try something out and get back to you.
I just GENH'd them, and they have some weird clicking in the background. I'll try updating the bcstm code and see if it makes any difference, which it likely won't.
So... are there any unused tracks in the game? Or, do Gooper Blooper and Giant Bowser's Pre-Battle Intro Themes have loops and we don't get to hear all of that?
!!!!! -- can you please stop using ncrypt or billion uploads? It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to download ANY SINGLE BYTE OF DATA EVER CREATED EVER IN THE HISTORY OF EVERYTHING.
