Zelda FS: Anniversary

Pop Island: Paperfield

Can these be converted to 2sf files?
by a574045075 at 1:18 PM EDT on September 24, 2014
How do you extract the SDATs file? You have the tools?

I decrypted the DSiWare. It's just a normal NDS format file, so I opened it in Tinke and extracted the SDAT.

I would also like to have the .NDS file for Four Swords.

For some reason, a .2sflib can't be made from Four Swords.

Well, anyway, here is what happened when I tried to make .2sfs with VGMToolbox:

Same results with the old Yoshi method.

Back to FSA:

It is possible to play the music with VGMTrans, but it doesn't sound right. Once extracted to DLS+MIDI,it sounds better.

54634564, you wouldn't have another FS .sdat, would you? Because the tracks for Realm of Memories aren't in this one!

There are these eight '.wave' files:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/mep919

EDIT: And this knife_sound.bin, which has references to those '.wave' files:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/bb4vrn

Might have info on their encoding. From just playing around, I found that a couple of those files are mono 8bit PCM.

54634564, those are indeed the files I was looking for!

However, I currently have no way to play them.
by a574045075 at 2:15 AM EDT on September 29, 2014
Using vgmtoolbox.

I have converted wave file to genh files.

You can play these files using vgmstream.

You can now decrypt all of your dsiware games. DSi SRL Extractor - Simply transfer your DSiWare from your DSi to an SD card. These files will then be located on the sd card in /private/ds/title/*.bin. Drag and drop those bin files right onto the executable, to output the fully decrypted DSiWare title, ready for your further processing, eg... with the tools to rip SDATs from them.

The source code to the utility is conveniently included, and you don't even need to hunt down the required keys, as they have already been hard-coded into the utility.

3DS download DSIWARE games

How to use DSi SRL Extractor decryption
by CaitSith2 at 9:18 PM EDT on September 29, 2014
Can't use it with DSiWare downloaded via a 3DS, as the encryption keys have changed. :(

You will need to buy the DSiWare on an actual DSi, rather than a 3DS, and transfer it to SD card from that DSi, to make use of the tool.
by MurraySkull at 9:29 PM EDT on September 29, 2014
Can it be used with DSiWare downloaded via NUS Downloader?

edited 2:37 AM EDT September 30, 2014
by CaitSith2 at 12:21 AM EDT on September 30, 2014
No go with using it on stuff you download with NUS downloader.

Of course, I put this tool out, so that others who have bought DSiWare on a DSi already, and still have them on their SD cards, will be able to extract their bins, for SDAT ripping purposes.

Here are 109 files I have already decrypted for this purpose, using this tool.
by Knurek at 12:37 AM EDT on September 30, 2014
CaitSith2: For pmh purposes, do you know of a release list for DSiWare titles? Something with data from all regions and with release dates if possible?
by CaitSith2 at 1:38 AM EDT on September 30, 2014
North America, PAL region

Do not know of a list for the Japan region.
by 54634564 at 3:36 AM EDT on September 30, 2014
Wow, thanks a ton for these releases, CaitSith2!

EDIT: Knurek, here's the list of Japanese DSiWare:

I'm curious The nds emulator can play these games??
by MurraySkull at 8:25 PM EDT on September 30, 2014
Not at this time. However, it will most likely become possible.
by CaitSith2 at 3:48 PM EDT on October 2, 2014
More DSiWare decrypted titles. This one includes Anonymous Notes Chapter 3, Anonymous Notes Chapter 4, and Penguin Patrol.
by ChillyBilly at 7:27 PM EDT on October 3, 2014
If we're talking DSiWare titles, here.... then may I asked if Accel Knights can be ripped, if it hasn't already? I've always been interested in that particular title....

I would be interested if anyone knew the correct sha1 hashes either/both
the fully decrypted(w/arm9/arm7 sections decrypted)
and/or
just decrypted with dsi common key(arm9/arm7 sections still encrypted) for the original content of SUDOKU Electronic Arts Inc K4DE
Title ID 000300044B344445 before it got taken down by Nintendo.
I am assuming there was a v0 before v1 and v257

@CaitSith2

can you redo your DSIware games.
Have read that these have the modcrypt area decrypted.
But emulator need that encrypted.

Can you redo them.

with is command in a .bat file

@echo off
for %%i in (*.bin) do dsi_srl_extract --nomodcrypt "%%i"

Done. Went a step further, and made the --nomodcrypt option an ini configuration option, so that it can still be decrypted with --nomodcrypt from a drag & drop.

A while ago I did a change to fix one game that wouldn't decrypt due to having " in the name (Easter "Eggstravaganza"). Also changed it so spaces are kept instead of changed to _.

Updated it with CaitSith2's changes.

Haven't seen a new release here, so I thought I'd make a new addition. Thanks to einstein95 for pointing me in the right direction to get this decrypted from my 3DS.

Trajectile [Reflect Missile](11-27-09)(Q-Games)

NOTICE: This rip is in NCSF format, not 2SF. I cannot get it to rip to 2sf format for some reason, as the resulting files don't seem to play in Foobar2000.

Edit: Set updated to correct a typo and add some proper song names as stated in-game.

Rayman got a takedown notice, probably from Ubisoft.
requesting the gen files from zelda four swords aniversury by threeblacknoises at 3:31 PM EDT on April 1, 2016
Hay all.
I was looking on this thread, and I found the ncfs files for Zelda four swords aniversury for 3ds/dsi.
The problem I'm having is that the sendspace link for the gen files someone made for the streamed music in that game seems to be dead.
Does anyone have those files floating around on theyre hard drive?
If so, could a new link please be posted?
Thanks in advance if my request is answered.
Later!
