use VGMToolbox to split the BFWAVs from the archives using some setup I haven't figured out.
You have to know,
Search String (as hex)
Cut Size
and some other things, output them as BFWAVs.
I may be wrong on the extension.
they're not on the .nus3banks, not on the stream folder that is- not that I'm aware of.
No one here except crediar can decrypt the isos. The isos are available to download but they are useless unless you have the common key to decrypt the key needed to decrypt the game itself.
Awesome, thanks for the hard work. I would like a little information on how the sound effects are stored, though--is it a bfsar or some other archive-type file?
Oh, that makes sense. So no JP voice rips yet, then? That's a shame, but I'll take what I can get.

Isn't the duck hunt sound missing in the PAL version? Oh well, other than that, I wish they could have kept the "You're too slow" bit, it would be great to have heard it with Roger Craig Smith.
They were really lazy with Sonic. They just recycled some of his clips from other games; I doubt they even asked him to record any lines specifically on the game. In the JP ver, on the other hand, Sonic's voices are exactly the same as Brawl.
That's because Sonic only got a new English VA, not a new JP one... So they didn't need new clips in JP... And they didn't care about the US version by itself

That's pretty depressing, now that I think about it, they didn't even bother using new assets at all- hell, Windy Hill sort of looks like a custom stage now that I think about it, the music is all reused, wow- poor sonic.
Fans still ate it up, I mean- at least he's THERE...right?
Those are probably line-out from the sound test menu. We want the giant archive (or however they stored the sounds) from the disc itself. Unfortunately, I do not know how to dump Wii U ISOs, nor do I know where to find them.
I can at least get all the SFX extracted with proper names this weekend. I've been wanting to fix my nus3bank extractor. I'm only gonna do the USA version though.
Oh, the sounds are also in a nus3bank? Interesting. If you're only going to do the USA version, can you post your extractor so other people can extract the other versions?
OK but am I the only one that actually downloaded the files from sounds-reasource? If u download them, especially the enemy sounds... I think you'll see that they most likely are the legit files.
