There is an option to search by author, but I can't specify an author for which it is to search for...

In any case that doesn't seem to be able to let me see the threads I've created in the past.

Edit: I can search my own posts, but not just list the threads I've made. I can't search for specific posts I've made either as there's only one search field so I can't specify my name and a search term...

There is no such function (to list your threads or to search among your posts). What are you looking for?

Actually, here's a nice hack: search in thread 0 by author for your user name, and you'll get a list of your first posts.

This works because every post that starts a thread is internally set up as being in the thread started by the nonexistent post 0.

I did ultimately find the thread I was after, but thanks for the suggestion. I'll use it in the future.
