Has anyone tried to rip the music from the PlayStation version of Deathtrap Dungeon? I'd like to make a request for a psf, since I haven't seen one for this game anywhere. Thanks!

All I found so far was 2 mono xa files. 1 was like a 58 sec intro?? and the other is intro dialogue?? "Fang...a town made famous by its creature-infested dungeon etc...."

Yeah, that's the audio and video for the intro. The samples for the music are all stored in .BOX files for each stage, no .XA or common formats.

That's it! Could you upload the full set? I just noticed that there are two folders containing .SEQ, .VB and .VH files. I can extract the rest of the data from the .BOX files using VGMToolbox.

EDIT:

I am assembling the files using MarkGrass's Generic Sequence Driver and it all seems to be fine. Would the timing be generally correct on these rips, or does it have to be manually adjusted somehow? As far as I can tell it seems to be right, apart from the starting points of the tracks which are different in-game.

Others contain duplicates or sound effects you won't need.

Grab this:

Extract it somewhere, put all the mentionned files inside and run "Extract.bat".
It will rip all the needed .seq/.vh/.vb files in the created "DATA" folder.
Then just use VGMToolbox to make the PSF files using either Davironica's Generic Driver v1.0.4 or Mark Grass Generic Driver v4.2.2.
