i doubt the quality will ever get "better"
its opus @ 68kbps, they went for quantity over quality.
achtually you dont really need vgmstream to play LOPUS as they are basically opus with a "custom" headers, with little modification you can play these with ffmpeg.
i mean its better than say AAC or MP3 at the same bitrate, but yea the compression really show in some tracks.

- It's actually 64kbps. VGMStream adds 3 kbps to the bitrate for some reason. Also it uses FFMpeg currently to decode Opus which will be changed soon to libOpus.

- It has 3-4 exclusive remixes of tracks from later games in the series in the original soundfont, so unlike the rest of the titles it has a reason to want to rip it. :P
All the files including the emulation system being used seem to be in one large .bin if the other titles in the series are anything to go by, so best of luck.

- I could upload the update itself separately to my drive but my internet is quite poor ATM. The update adds roughly 200MB worth of new music (though I accidentally copied the Daroche intro in the 4.0.0 folder on accident (d'oh!))

- Opus 64kbps is Excellent. Although for some people, 128kbps is more the transparent threshold, 64kbps is more than adequate for background music.

- Fine, I was wrong. It obviously sucks, and some people prefer HE-AACv2, and also obviously love paying licensing fees.
I, too, can notice every artifact with Opus at 64kbps, especially while the music is playing in the background while I'm actually playing the game.
Who am I kidding? I can't hear over about 14800Hz, and haven't heard over that for several years now. I can clearly listen to FLACs that have high frequency content, and can hear that they sound different from when I listened to them in my early twenties.

- Quality as a whole wasn’t gonna sound much better than it did before. The main thing fixed was the decoding issues some files were having at these low bitrates.

- Okay, so I managed to find Dragon Marked for Death.... but I'm having a ton of trouble actually extracting the content. At most, I can get the NCA files, but beyond that.... no good. I'm fairly sure the files are encrypted, but I can't find any info concerning this title anywhere (presumably because it just released). If anyone wants, I can post the main NCA file here, and maybe see if you guys can take care of this (BX, Knurek?), though I'm not exactly sure if that's allowed in these parts. Let me know just in case!

I'm interested in ripping the game's sprites (or artwork for that matter, anything image related) but i need the files for that :( of course i know those cant be shared publicy, that's why i hoped if it would be possible to contact you privately elsewhere.
I have tried with a different tools, but cant get the romfs file, everytime i get a wrong keys/header error and its driving me crazy...

Sengoku Musou 4 DX (Or Samurai Warriors 4 DX for the localized title. Anyway, I actually have an issue with this rip.... the extracted files aren't playing for me. I'm not sure if this is another plugin issue, but I included the original files just in case, like I did with Atelier Lulua a while back.)

BTW, I also looked into the full version of Langrisser 1 & 2. Turns out that, at least music-wise, the content is exactly the same as the demo, no more, no less. So yeah, the demo's a complete rip, as I figured a while back.
