Has anyone had any luck with Voez (and Deemo) updates? Each adds at least a dozen music tracks, the current rips are woefully outdated... :\
by ChillyBilly at 11:40 PM EDT on May 10, 2019
@Knurek: I'll look into the rhythm game DLC tracks when I get the chance. Been meaning to get those sets updatedanyway. In the meantime, here's some new stuff:

Giga Wrecker Alt. (Thankfully, this one didn't have too many tracks, so I had the time to give them their proper titles!)

Gyro Boss DX

Jack N' Jill DX

James Pond: Codename Robocod

Order Land

Pixel Devil and the Broken Cartridge

Shadow Blade Reload

Edit: A couple more:

Sadly, I barely had any time to get ANY rips done this week, let alone Switch stuff... Still, here's something, at least:

Fantasy Hero: Unsigned Legacy

Oh, and a little something to add: Remember that Rad Rodgers rip I posted a while back? Well, I did a little experimenting and discovered the files play just fine with a .dsp extension! Just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone still has trouble with those files!

Edit: Okay, managed to squeeze in one more:

by ChillyBilly at 12:38 AM EDT on May 25, 2019
Compared to last week, I got much more done this time around:

Disco Dodgeball Remix

Gal*Gun 2 (Yet another Unreal game that uses DSP audio!)

GunLord X

Gunman Clive HD Collection

Lode Runner Legacy

Mega Man Legacy Collection + Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 (I assume MM1-6 are sequenced, since I didn't find any streamed versions of their tracks. As for MMLC2, I put MM7-10's tracks in their own folders for convenience's sake. It's pretty weird how MM9's tracks are handled, though....)

Picross S 3

Sonic Mania (Yes, this is the "vanilla" version, and unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to loop the tracks. I had this lying around for a while (around the same time as the PS4 version I posted a while back), and I figured I'd get to posting it, already.)

Spelunker Party

Super Meat Boy

Enjoy!
by ChillyBilly at 10:58 PM EDT on June 1, 2019
A little later this time around, but I assure you, it's worth the wait:

Caterpillar Royale

Chime Sharp

Crystal Crisis

Des Irae: Amantes Amantes

Gato Roboto

Inferno Climber: Reborn

JackQuest: The Tale of the Sword

Joe Jump Impossible Quest

Jolt Family Robot Racer

Mechstermination Force

Mercury Race

Monster Dynamite

Monster Slayers

The Next Penelope

Satsujin Tantei Jack the Ripper (I messed up the folder's title for this one and didn't get a chance to fix it before uploading it... my bad)

Space Ribbon

Super Tennis Blast

Wonder Boy Returns Remix

Enjoy!

A bit late again, this week.... but I still have a few goodies to share:

Geki Yaba Runner: Anniversary Edition

Hey guys, I've got some more nice stuff to share:

Muse Dash (Another rhythm title with many nice tracks!)

Rolling Gunner (For some reason, the music also came in .OGG format.... which I included)

Rolling Sky

Splash Blast Panic

Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack

Yo-Kai Watch 4: Bokura wa Onajikara o Miage Tale (For some reason, the sound comes in a mix of both HCA AND ADX formats. Also included the "event" archives since they contain various bits of jingles/cutscene audio, etc.)

Enjoy, guys!
by bxaimc at 4:32 AM EDT on June 22, 2019
I was actually working on Youkai myself because the cue names like in most games nowadays with acb/awb pairs are jacked up. I have to do it by hand rather than use vgmtoolbox, for example. Same with Bloodstained. So generally, If you see the extracted result looking like this, file names and file count are definitely wrong:

edited 4:44 AM EDT June 22, 2019
by dany1994gus at 11:44 AM EDT on June 22, 2019
Is there a possibility that you have Super Mario maker 2?
by ChillyBilly at 4:17 PM EDT on June 22, 2019
@BX: Yeah, I know about the ACB/AWB inconsistencies, but unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the process of properly ripping them outside of the VGMT method. Sadly, it doesn't seem to be like the more recent Wwise rips where they at least contain XML files that list the proper names of files, so I just upload what I get as-is. Of course, I'd be willing to post the "corrected" sets if I had the time and know-how (but especially the former)....
by mariofan12ify at 12:44 AM EDT on June 24, 2019
@dany1994gus - Dude, just wait until the game comes out on the 28th, it's not that long.
by Cucho at 1:13 AM EDT on June 24, 2019
@mariofan12ify - I mean the game has been already been arriving at different gaming stores, official and non-official Nintendo retailers everywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if the game leaked before friday.
by MoldyPond at 8:45 AM EDT on June 24, 2019
@Cucho Just because it may have leaked is not a 100% guarantee it would be cracked and uploaded here already. Besides, I doubt there are that many "new" tracks that it's impossible to wait patiently for them. 90% of the soundtrack is just going to be from Mario Maker 1 anyways.
by Cucho at 2:29 PM EDT on June 24, 2019
@MoldyPond I feel it's very likely to have hopes of the game leaking early given what I said, sure that doesn't mean it will be "cracked" like you say or whatever but what's the big deal that someone is asking if maybe someone else had it already, people are just excited about a game.

So far I'm counting at least 64 new music tracks. A comprehensive soundtrack I've got for SMM1 is just 132 files (and I'm being generous and including the Yoshi bongo versions in there). There is quite a lot of content to look forward and it's definitely more than the 10% of the whole game, so there you have it.
by bxaimc at 1:57 PM EDT on June 26, 2019
So uhh...soon. We’re geting it ready.
by Cucho at 2:04 PM EDT on June 26, 2019

Request for Phantom Breaker: Battle Ground Overdrive by blood_falcon at 9:29 PM EDT on July 2, 2019
Anyone could help to rip Phantom Breaker: Battle Ground Overdrive for Switch?

The music is good, each with PSG version and FM version available.
by ChillyBilly at 5:08 PM EDT on July 3, 2019
@blood falcon: I actually checked out the Switch Phantom Breaker a while back. Unfortunately, it has the same issue as the other versions of the game I checked: The files all seem to be encrypted. At the very least, I can verify that the Xbox 360, Vita, and PC versions all share this issue, as well. And trust me, I want to rip this game's music quite badly, myself. Perhaps I can try posting some sample files for the Switch version to see if a rip is possible now, though?
by spikyalumnus at 6:01 PM EDT on July 3, 2019
Do anyone know why vgmstream merge some channels together? Some Super Mario Maker 2 tracks should have 14 channels, but they end up with only 8 when exported...
Re: ChillyBilly by blood_falcon at 6:30 PM EDT on July 3, 2019
Yes, bro ChillyBilly. It is worth a try at least. Thanks again bro
by mariofan12ify at 6:21 AM EDT on July 4, 2019
@spikyalumnus - Foobar can't handle any channels over 8 unfortunately.
by bxaimc at 9:27 AM EDT on July 4, 2019
It’s not foobar. It’s how you set your downmix settings and your sound card’s capabilities.
by ChillyBilly at 11:41 PM EDT on July 5, 2019
Time for a new batch:

La-Mulana 2

Moto Rush GT

Neon Junctions

Pato Box

Quest for the Golden Duck

Soap Dodgem

Xtreme Club Racing

BTW, it looks like a few rips of mine from this page were overlooked. Also, I see Rad Rodgers was uploaded, but it keeps the "SWITCH_AUDIO" extension, which is not quite playable (for me, at least). However, it DOES play just fine is the extension is switched to DSP! Just wanted to put that out there...

SMM2 Effect Block Music/Sounds by Audity at 2:48 AM EDT on July 18, 2019
I sifted through the entire SMM2 .7z.

However, the effect/block stuff isn't present.
Anyone have insight as to why?

I'm talking about some of the ones present here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffnqLIrM3n8
I'm not sure exactly which ones are missing, besides what I've heard in the game is called the "Peaceful" music effect. There might be more missing, too, like the "horror" effect 'music'/sound. ...Maybe some of the music is hidden, or is a different type of format compared to all the rest present in the .7z? Thanks.
by MoldyPond at 6:43 AM EDT on July 18, 2019

High Noon Revolver

JumpHead: Battle4Fun!

The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors

Pawarumi

Picross Lord of the Nazarick

Puru-Chara Friends: Hoppe-chan to Sanrio Characters

Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-A-Fide Edition (Yet another one that gives me issues. The tracks come out all glitchy-sounding.... perhaps because it's a rare case of XWB files being used for a Nintendo system?)

Super Mutant Alien Assault

Super Weekend Mode

YIIK: A Postmodern RPG

^Pardon the Ninja Saviors set being posted in folder format... unfortunately, I'm currently someplace with a rather weak internet connection and I couldn't upload a bigger .7zip file without it getting constantly interrupted. So, this was the only option I had for the moment. I think it's worth it, though.... @Knurek: Yeah, turns out the tools I used were slightly outdated. The files extracted A-okay for me as well after updating. Not really much point in me posting them now though, I think. However, I DO have something I've worked on since the weekend:

Grandia HD Collection

^I encountered some weird issues with this one too, though. First, I should note that both movies and sound each have two folders. Anyway, when working on the first movie folder, it took me freaking FOREVER to demux the files (pretty much the primary reason I wasn't able to post this set until now). I imagine they must have had some weird encoding, considering the size of some of the output files (one came out over 100MB!). My next issue stems from the .opus files. I have no idea if this is just a problem on my end, but they play really slowly for me, at least on foobar. If this issue isn't exclusive to me, is there a way to get those files to play at normal speed? Otherwise, everything else came out fine, more or less (there were quite a few sound files to trim out, but I think all the relevant ones are present). That's all I've got for now...

I can't seem to find an upload for the Joker update for Smash Bros. Does anyone know where I can find it?
by bxaimc at 3:42 PM EDT on September 9, 2019
Oh. Thought I posted it in the past. Hang on. I have it here somewhere.

Guess I only posted it on discord, heh.

Has anybody gotten a chance to look into the DLC for Celeste?
by bxaimc at 9:45 AM EDT on September 13, 2019
Not yet, soon.

So Daemon x Machina is one of those games that break tools and stuff because it doesn’t want to acknowledge half of the files. Something must have changed in the cue tables. Not even CRI’s tools seem to work correctly either...hmm

Fun times.

Ni no Kuni uses plain jane ogg vorbis but has externally defined loops in what seems to possibly be the same header files from the PS3 version.

Contra Rogue Corps is wwise....
by ChillyBilly at 2:52 PM EDT on September 18, 2019
LOL, I just checked out the demo version of Contra yesterday. Looots of audio to go through. I haven't seen the full version yet, but it's probably worse. It especially doesn't help that there's little music snippets contained among those files (geez, this is why wwise is such a pain). I'll try, but I doubt I can get it sorted out anytime soon....
