Wii Soundfont suggestions by Mr.Sanic at 5:05 AM EST on December 19, 2017
Suggest me some games to add in.
And yes i am working on a completely GM Wii Soundfont from sequenced games.
Y'all can help by suggesting me games to rip audio from.

Galaxy 1 and 2 have some, Twilight Princess... that's all I can think of at the moment. Aside from the system channels, anyway.
by Mr.Sanic at 11:46 AM EST on December 20, 2017
Hmmm
At the moment no one told me how to extract samples from wii channels.
But a guy on youtube ripped Wii Shop samples...
and i'm totally sure that Forecast channel and Photo Channel are sequenced.

The Mii Channel has a good Epiano if you wanna use that.
by Mr.Sanic at 4:58 AM EST on December 24, 2017
Is it extractable?
I really want to know if there's a way to rip it :p

Hi Sanic,i'm looking for Okami soundfont,i tried to do it on PS2 and WII versions but whatever the tools that i use,it doesn't work or it crashes everytime.

Looking for Soukaigi soundfont too,i got the sound effects and crystal quality soundtrack but never the instruments when i'm ripping.

hmm,Do you have the sound files for Okami?
i can extract it for you.
by Xouman at 3:58 PM EST on December 28, 2017
It's the ADX files that you need right?

If yes,here they are :

Thanks for your help.
by sans. at 5:46 PM EST on December 28, 2017
But isn't ADX the soundtrack files?
if you want the instruments for a soundfont, you need the samples.
by Xouman at 8:02 AM EST on December 29, 2017
Yeah i know,but that's the problem,i can't find a way to extract/rip the samples.
by sans. at 3:42 PM EST on December 29, 2017
Oooh i see.
looks like everything is streamed...
by Stardust_Mr at 3:52 AM EST on December 30, 2017
Adx files are streamed.
by Mr.Sanic at 5:05 AM EST on December 30, 2017
yup.
by Xouman at 1:28 PM EST on December 31, 2017
Okay,so that's my last question :

Can we convert Adx files to Psf2(or simply create psf2?)to open them in AudioOverload who can mute the channels one by one?

I'm laughing on the fact that if AO had a simple MP3 setting, uploading the file and bingo, but no,it will be so easy. :)

unfortunately,no.
you can at least convert them to .wem or .ogg
but at the moment there aren't any tools to make this type of conversion.
:/

ADX files are simply streamed, mixed and mastered music. To get your hands on individual channels, you'd have to have quite a connection with the sound team who developed the game but even then I don't think they'd lend you their work so easily.

Streamed files are alike to MP3s. You can't rip each channel 1 by 1. There are some tricks in audacity to remove the center channel frequency, but that's as far as you really can go with streamed music.

I would say the closest you can get to having the resources of the music you're looking for, would be to track down what instruments, synths, drums, etc they used and try to recreate it yourself down to the mixing and transposing.

Unfortunately, ADX files are streamed. They're basically MP3/WAV encoded in a special way, there's no way to extract the samples unless you recreate them yourself.

Warioware Smooth Moves used sequenced music for all of it's songs.
by Mr.Sanic at 7:48 PM EST on February 15, 2018
And are the samples rippable?
(i've never touched any WarioWare games hehe ¬¬)
by ArcticJaguar725 at 8:10 PM EST on February 15, 2018
They should be, everything's stored in a BRSAR archive after all.
by Mr.Sanic at 4:54 PM EST on February 16, 2018
OMG I GOT THEM

i've never seen a sample loop perfectly :,)
