64th Note v1.2 beta 3 by hcs at 3:43 AM EDT on March 31, 2007
Here's a fresh build, it includes extended file info (for stuff like advanced title formatting and the media library) and multi-user support, added by dr0. It also is now built with Visual Studio 2005, as Josh figured out how to do correctly. Reports indicate that this version is a lot faster and doesn't break anything. I'd like to have that verified.
I skipped clean over beta 2 since there were beta 2-ish builds around.
Yeah, it works good in the playlist, but what about in the Media Library? Is that still going to look weird no matter what or can I get the titles to work properly?
Is the only way to re-add files is to delete the database file and rescan everything?
I'm not sure, since I don't think I've tried it myself, but if you rescan the directories that the USFs in question are in (those you wish to add, or have added), then I think it will take the files, and rescan them, and add them with the new tag support stuff. I'm not sure on that, mind you, but I think it works that way.
If it doesn't, then you can select the files in question in your Media Library, and delete them, and then rescan. You shouldn't need to delete the entire database, unless you only have USFs in it.
Hopefully that helps. If not, then sorry I couldn't answer your question adequately. Mouser X over and out.
Yeah, its like once its in the Media Library database, its in there permanently unless the files are physically moved. I tried removing the directory from the Watch Folders, but even after re-scanning and trying "remove missing files", they are still there.
I went ahead and deleted the database file and re-scanned everything. It's wasn't a big deal, though I lost the play count for each file.
there should be a 'read metadate on selected items' option on the ml view items so you don't have to remove and reload existing files (is what i used when developing the atf code)
Ha ha... if I could (or maybe felt I could) it would be done by now >_>:
Actually, the only major thing holding it back was that MSVC2005 is needed to compile components for foobar2000, now thats not a issue.....:)...Which means, someone MIGHT be able to port it a bit easier....
