Getting it to work by sammyph at 3:32 AM EDT on May 22, 2007
Thanks for your previous help guys.

Ive followed the links and downloaded winamp, I downloaded WinRAR as i was told to and i went to this page http://hcs64.com/usf/#64th for the 64th note, tried all the files on the bottom of the page. The only one that did anything was the 1.1 installer, where it proceeds to install a plugin.

But when i downloaded the soundtrack of Zophar's Domain and dragged the files into Winamp nothing happens. I even downloaded NSIS as well but nothing is really working.

Thanks

1) No need to bother with Zophar's Domain, you were already on USF Central which has all those USF sets and many more besides.
2) Did you just drag the compressed file (ending in .rar or .zip) onto winamp and expect it to play? Winamp doesn't have the ability to read inside compressed files by default (though there is a plugin you can get to do that). You need to extract the .miniusf and .usflib files from the archive (all files from the same game *must* go in the same directory), then you can drag the miniusf files onto winamp and have them play.
If you have Windows XP you can simply double-click on .zip files to view their contents, select all the files therein and copy them to some other location to extract them.

Ok I wont worry about Zophars Domain though.

What files do I download from the 64th plug in link, and then what do I do with them. Sorry for my retardedness.

Cheers

You should probably get the 1.2 beta 3 binary. Open the zip file as mentioned above and copy the in_usf.dll file to the winamp plugins directory, probably c:\program files\winamp\plugins.
After that, start winamp, you should then be able to play the miniusf files if you followed my instructions above for extracting them.
