Street Fighter III: Double Impact by pbw at 7:45 PM EST on January 18, 2008
Hi all,

I've been lurking here for a while, awesome site, you guys to great work...

Anyway, I'm trying to rip the music from SF3:DI for Dreamcast, but when I play the ADP files in Winamp, I just get static... am I doing something wrong? I've looked everywhere for a solution and have come up empty... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, and keep up the good work!

I think that there are different types of ADP files. I once tried to play some ADP files from Nights for the Sega Saturn, and they did the same thing.

Yeah, .adp is a fairly generic extension for ADPCM, in_cube only supports the Gamecube's version.

Digging this one up from it's grave, as I was planning on asking about this myself. I managed to get some sound out of the .ADP files using GENH set to Yamaha AICA 4-bit but I really have no idea where to begin as far as making the necessary adjustments to make them sound right.

I figure there's been some development in the ADPCM department in the past 4 years for some progress, so maybe one of you can take a shot at them. I upped 3 files, so if anyone can manage to get these working properly, I'd really appreciate it.
