Problem with Naruto: Narutimate Ninja (PS2) by DjKnuX at 12:33 PM EST on February 5, 2008
Hi all,
I got a Problem with the Game Naruto: Narutimate Ninja (a.k.a Naruto: Ultimate Ninja).
I want to extract the Music from the Game-DVD but I can´t find any AFS Files.
There are only .BIN Files. One of them is called BGM.BIN(Size: 550 MB) and I think thats the File that contains the Music. But I don´t know what I can do with this File right now.
I want the Soundtrack and I searched a Game-Rip of this Game but don´t find one.

Can Somebody help me?

Naruto sucks. Also, you suck if you like Naruto or anime in general.

Question answered.

Naruto's actually a pretty good anime.

I dont like the Game. I ONLY like the Tunes there in this Game.
I played it by a Friend and don´t own it.

Good point.

How about you put the file on rapidshare/megaupload/etc so I can take a look?
by DjKnuX at 2:18 PM EST on February 5, 2008
Okay, I try to put it up in the next few days.
As Information: I use Megaupload.
Was it okay when I upload it in 3 Parts?(WinRar) Because I can´t resume Uploads and I upload only at around 20 kBits.

Here I´ve uploaded Screenshots what the Disc contains: http://www.megaupload.com/de/?d=6J5AH150

Please take a look and say me which Files you need to check the Music in there.
I think the File BGM.BIN (in the Voice Folder) is the File that includes the Music.

I hope you can understand me without any Problems. My English isn´t well.^^

Before someone else suggests it, you could try adXtract. If the BGM.BIN file contains ADX that will find it.
The problem is that I don't think that game uses ADX.

You may also want to try MFAudio if adXtract doesn't work. MFAudio works for the Katamari games, so it may work for that game.

Hi again,
I have tested the 2 Tools adXtract and MFAudio.
First I tried adXtract but it doesn´t work. I only got a black Screen that closed itself very fast.
Then I tried MFAudio and... it works!^^
I´m very happy now and wanna thank you all for helping me! (Unknownfile, hcs and Aenigma)
After I used MFAudio I got a 500 MB .WAV File with all Songs in it. Now I cut the Tracks into Single Songs and save it to MP3. (320kbits)
When anybody wants the Soundtrack fell free to ask me and I upload it.

AdXtract is a command line tool. That means you need to run it from the command prompt. It has no GUI (Graphical User Interface), which is why it blinked out so quickly. When you double-clicked on it, it opened, but it had no commands issued to it, so it closed.

To run it correctly, try searching Google for information on how to use the command prompt. I'd tell you here, but I realized it would take a lot more typing than I have the will power for right now. I had a terrible night, and I'm not up to explaining its use at this time.

You could try simply putting the adXtract application in the same folder as the file you want scanned, and then drag+drop the BIN file onto adxtract. Doing this will result with any found files put into the same directory that the BIN file is in, or in your user directory (I suppose the Windows User directory). Hopefully that's of some use to you. Mouser X over and out.

Thanks Mouser X.
Now I got this Tool to work right. After it had scanned the .bin File from the Game,
I got only a Protocoll and no ADX Files will be found.

But the other Tool works perfectly with this .Bin File. So the Programm AdXtract will be not needed this Time. Maybe at my next Rip it can be helpful to use.

Thanks anyway.
