Which rip, there were, like, 100 Castlevania games.
And less songs then listed where?

Actually, there are two. Legacy of Darkness is on there too.

Which brings up an interesting point. Why on earth is Legacy of Darkness not complete? Parasyte gave the OK to release it, and it has tags. Is there something wrong with it?

There was discussion of removing duplicates between CV64 and LoD. That's all I remember.

I think that you should just release LoD as is. There are GSF and 2SF rips that have duplicate tracks between multiple games and nobody complains about it. It wouldn't make that much of a difference IMO.

--EDIT--

Oh, and the Mario Golf USF set needs to be released too.

I'm actually in the process of re tagging and timing both sets.

I had Castlevania 64 done, but I managed to lose the files. Now I only have the mp3's I recorded.

As a nonconformist, why should you care if the sets are "officially" released?
by marioman at 8:44 PM EST on March 6, 2008
I was referring to my ASCII face there. <.< See?

well sorry, i do not play castlevania on the n64 nor do i own it, thus i did not know that there was a second game and that it's title excludes the word castlevania.

Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness doesn't exclude the word "Castlevania." It's part of the title. As has been said in this thread, both Castlevania games (Castlevania 64 and Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness) have been ripped, and are available on HCS's USF page. The reason people say "Legacy of Darkness" is because the word "Castlevania" is a given part of the title. For example, instead of saying "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" people say "Twilight Princess."

Anyway, if you like Castlevania music, maybe you should give Legacy of Darkness a listen. I haven't listened to Castlevania 64, or Legacy of Darkness, so I really don't know how they compare to each other in music. But since it's Castlevania, I figure if you like one, you'll most likely like the other. Give it a try, and let us know. Perhaps the missing songs are in there? Mouser X over and out.

:o ok then, i suffer A.D.D. so i tend to overlook things and not be able to word what i mean properly. thank you for pointing that out and uh, i did find castlevania 64 music to be a bit erm, uninspired.
