dude this is fucking great, thx alot for your work the only other unknown format i would upload is the wii smackdown vs raw 2008 which is in a .fsb but its around 1.40gb but if u don't mind downloading that i will upload that also. thx alot dude

edit: here i uploaded a much smaller fsb from the game which is most likely the same format audio anyway. http://www.ibukimasta.com/38_chants_dvd.fsb

let me know if u do it and thanks alot.

I can assure you that FastElbJa doesn't mind downloading 1.4 GB. This guy has (nearly) single handedly increased the streamed sets from a few GB, to *WAY* over 100 GB. 1.4 GB is nothing compared to the stuff this guy sifts through to find streamed audio to rip. The question isn't if it's a problem for him. It's if it's a problem for you. Seriously, if you can, upload anything and everything. FastElbJa is a machine that can't be stopped. In the past, he's ripped streamed audio sets so fast, that he couldn't keep up with the uploads (that is, in the amount of time it takes him to upload 1 or 2 streamed sets, he's already ripped an additional 3-5 new sets). I'm not sure if that's the case anymore. I think he might be getting to the point where he's having difficulty finding games to rip... Or running out of hard drive space... Not sure which.

Anyway, upload away. I *strongly* doubt there's anything you could put up, that FastElbJa wouldn't download (if it's streamed audio). Mouser X over and out.
by MarkGrass at 8:23 PM EDT on March 14, 2008
I agree with the others; if anyone has an unknown format, upload it.

Although it would appear that only popular titles get supported (via in_cube/vgmstream), don't give up hope - people do get bored/interested enough to add random format support.

This does present a problem, however - requests/formats often go unsupported because they are presented in a tiny thread that people overlook, etc. What can be done about this?

EDIT:
@FastElbJa - Can you upload the in_cube source, please?

@IBUKImAsTa - Which title is ydspac.pac from (DoR 1 or 2)? Is there any difference in the two?

ydspac is for both dor1 and dor2 and i tried it on wrestlemania 19 game also and it worked for all of them. incase fastelbja doesn't see my edit here is a .fsb with unknown audio in it from wii version of smackdown vs raw 2008. hope u can find this one out also thanks alot. http://www.ibukimasta.com/38_chants_dvd.fsb

hi all

@ MarkGrass : here is the source

http://stashbox.org/91673/in_cube037source.zip

beware, some formats can be broken as i work on several format @ a time (specially in IMA).

Can you upload somewhere tracks from Megaman (in .AUS format) ?

@ IBUKImAsTa : FSB format is allready supported by the current in_cube version. The sample you upload contains multiple tracks/sfx in one fsb file.

Ex : Metroid 3 contains FSB file but with one song in each file. It is the same format than Smackdown. Maybe i should write an extractor for those one ...

hi all ...

here is a tool to extract single file from wii fsb container :

http://stashbox.org/91710/un_fsb_wii.zip

and a slighty modified version of in_cube to play those files :

http://stashbox.org/91712/in_cube.zip

enjoy :)

by IBUKImAsTa at 4:44 PM EDT on March 15, 2008
dude ur the man thx alot for all ur work its much appreciated i look forward for future games now if its not supported i know who to ask for help now lol. thx
by MarkGrass at 10:37 PM EDT on April 11, 2008
Sorry for the bump, but I haven't been here for awhile...

@fastelbja - I would gladly upload all the MegaMan AUS files onto my server at The-Horror.com, but i'm afraid the entire archive is roughly 1.5 ~ 2GB - my webmaster probably wouldn't like it. If there's somewhere else I could upload it.... (eg, NOT MegaUpload, etc).

Oh, and here is the source with MM AUS, and Resident Evil FIL support (both are VAG). Can you please add it to your latest version of in_cube and post it so that I can have a "complete" in_cube with support for the formats added since?

MarkGrass, no worries in this case.

Also, let's all try mybloop.com for hosting.
by bxaimc at 5:23 PM EDT on April 16, 2008
hi could someone take a look at these files please -

these 2 are archives but i can't extract from them:

http://www.mybloop.com/bxaimc/MUSIC.PS2
http://www.mybloop.com/bxaimc/SOLAR1.RCF

for the rest of these, i was wondering if they could be played with in_cube:

http://www.mybloop.com/bxaimc/FRONTEND.XA2
http://www.mybloop.com/bxaimc/FRNTEND0.MIB
http://www.mybloop.com/bxaimc/GBGM0EL.P16
http://www.mybloop.com/bxaimc/AFRICA1.pcm
by MarkGrass at 8:14 PM EDT on April 16, 2008
http://www.mybloop.com/bxaimc/MUSIC.PS2

There is nothing that can be done with this, really. While the audio itsself can be extracted, there's no headers for it...

EDIT:
http://www.mybloop.com/bxaimc/SOLAR1.RCF

Same here, except this archive contains actual game data. There appears to be audio in it, but giventhe nature of the archive, it's probably only Sound Effects.

by bxaimc at 9:23 PM EDT on April 16, 2008
i see........

SOLAR1.RCF is part of 4 files which come from Crash Tag Team Racing. This comes from one of the folders in the disk:

-SOLAR-
SOLAR1.RCF
SOLAR2.RCF
SOLAR3.RCF
SOLAR4.RCF

any news on the others though?
by bxaimc at 7:40 PM EDT on April 17, 2008
Here's a different archive for a different game:

http://www.mybloop.com/bxaimc/sound.rcf

please see if the files could be extracted.
by hcs at 7:57 PM EDT on April 17, 2008
It contains files headered RSD6VAG, does in_cube support these yet?
by bxaimc at 9:40 PM EDT on April 17, 2008
im not sure if it does support it yet, though in_cube does support RSD6. the file also contains RSD6AT3+
by nensondubois at 9:54 PM EDT on April 17, 2008
Try renaming it to just "RSD6" it may or may not work.
by bxaimc at 10:34 PM EDT on April 17, 2008
it might work but i dont't know how to extract these files though. heh :)
by MarkGrass at 11:43 AM EDT on April 19, 2008
@bxaimc - MIB, XA2, RSD6, and PCM are all supported by in_cube.

I have a little bit of free time today, I may write an extractor for "Sound.Rcf". Mind telling us what game it's from, though??
by bxaimc at 1:44 PM EDT on April 19, 2008
Sound.rcf came from the psp version of Crash of the Titans

@MarkGrass - that's a bit odd, the PCM and XA2 still won't play.

"Sound.rcf came from the psp version"

Ah, no wonder... before I make an extractor for this, can someone with the proper knowledge tell me if in_cube even supports PSP audio? And if so, what formats? Last time I checked, there were dozens of PSP formats with PS2-type extensions that won't work with in_cube...

Also, after looking into these RCF archives, there are Text files with flags that indicate which "audio-type" should be loaded: GCN, PS2, or PSP. One would think the PSP and PS2 share the same audio-type, guess not.

And about PCM/XA2, it's possible they just simply have the wrong file extension or aren't supported by in_cube, yet.
by bxaimc at 3:17 PM EDT on April 19, 2008
Hmm......
Well, in that case, i'll look for that same archive but on a different console game iso. Maybe on the 360, wii, or ps2 version in the mean time

Hey, is it possible to integrate your ydsp support into the in_cube project? or is it already apart of the project?

BTW, is there a extractor for the MPQ files in Warcraft III?
by bxaimc at 12:18 PM EDT on April 20, 2008
ydsp is supported with this version of in_cube found here:

http://stashbox.org/91712/in_cube.zip

I'm not sure if there is an extractor for MPQ files in Warcraft III, but there is an MPQ extractor for WWE Day Of Reckoning. The extractor might work on World of Warcraft III.

by Omochao at 12:09 AM EDT on April 21, 2008
Blizzard .MPQ is completely different.
by marcusss at 12:25 AM EDT on April 21, 2008
Did you try the WOW MPQ viewer from blizzard .. Maybe it works?

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/4454/download/24683/

You may need to d/l mscomctl.ocx

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/4454/download/24683/

This works fine :) and yea the WWE extractor just sits there processing for infinity :P
by marcusss at 1:27 AM EDT on April 21, 2008
Well glad it helped :) I never ever played wow tho , but have played warcraft games .. II and III :) Good music.. If any good music there let us know or share :D
by Franpa at 8:28 AM EDT on April 21, 2008
I used it with Warcraft II, not WOW >.< and it works fine :)

there is no good music though... the Warcraft II Introduction music is kinda good, but it lacks the vocals!
Warcraft III by Elven Spellmaker at 12:23 PM EDT on April 21, 2008
I play this game all the time, and use "War3 Model Editor" as my MPQ extractor...

I also use Wc3 Image Extractor II for getting texture paths in my maps...

I also use JassCraft to write Jass, which is the Warcraft III programming language:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JASS

I also use Warcraft III World Editor Unlimited, because of the better World Editor... Although Maps you make must be run through their patch, so must other people who use the map...

I also use Warcraft 3 Viewer as an alternative to War3 Model Editor...

Look on http://hiveworkshop.com for lots of Warctaft III models, skins, icons, etc. and also probably the programs mentioned above...

Illidan Stormrage is my favourite from WC3, and I don't like the look of WOW, or Illidan in WOW...
by bxaimc at 7:39 PM EDT on April 24, 2008
umm........how do you extract npsf files from a game like ridge racer(PSP) when all the songs are in a single file with a .bin extension?

and how do you play an .at3 file with a RIFF header?

Make an extractor, and AT3 isn't support yet.
by MarkGrass at 3:30 PM EDT on April 26, 2008
I combined fastelbja's source w/YDSP support with my own containing MegaMan Anniversary Collection and Resident Evil Dead Aim support.

in_cube
in_cube source

Dead Aim support is now finished. I had to make a program to fix Dead Aim FIL audio so that it could properly be supported by in_cube. Link:

FILp Fix For in-cube
FPK Extract

And finally, the fixed FILp(s) from Dead Aim:
Dead Aim Audio
by marcusss at 10:38 PM EDT on April 26, 2008
Thanks fo that and music from RE sounds fine :)

Some previous versions of in_cube crashed winamp.. I always had to go back and use 0.35.. But this one works fine so I am thankful for that ^_^

I need some help with this file:

http://www.mybloop.com/bxaimc/Bgm.pac

The problem is i have no idea how to exract the audio from this .pac file. I know it contains .wpd audio files.
by MarkGrass at 9:35 AM EDT on May 6, 2008
I have this file on my PC now, Extractor took 5 minutes, however... ya forgot to tell me what game this is from! ;P
by bxaimc at 10:19 AM EDT on May 6, 2008
