Is this available anywhere on this site? I like the instruments heard in the Gamecube audio more than the ones heard in the original soundtrack.... especially when it comes to songs like Hubris. The Erhu beats that tinny violin synth they used in the soundtrack anyday.
I don't need MP3s, just the original audio files (which is what I'm sure you deal in anyway).
The closest thing on this site is the ADXs from the XBOX version, not the GC version. It's 207 MB or so, and can be found here. Hopefully that's close enough. If not, maybe someone else has the GC version, and is willing to upload the specific files you're looking for (I don't have it). Mouser X over and out.
Hmm, I hadn't thought of downloading the different versions. I'll certainly test this rip out and see if it compares well. Thanks a lot for the direct link.
EDIT: Good call, these versions are great. They even play at 48KHz; I found a list on this site of tested games through a Google search I did for the Gamecube rip, and the Gamecube files play at 32KHz. So, I ended up getting a better deal here. Much thanks. Wish there was something I could give in return.
The only reason you would pick the gamecube version is because it has 2 extra tracks(Link's Victory track and Link's Theme) which are not part of the OST either.
