Can you make ssh connections (port 23)? If not, https (443)? Create an account with SDF and you can login and run a client from within the SSH session, or if you're on the higher levels where you have to pay you can outright forward ports from your local machine to SDF. I used to use this from my high school which had a very restrictive network.
nuts, I forgot they won't let you use IRC until arpa membership, which requires a $36 donation.
I might make an appearance, though it'll mean I have a hefty 6 IRC networks on autoconnect... plus there's no other channels on quakenet I can be bugged with =p.

Well at least its connecting.
!!! I can use CGI:IRC on other channels. Hmm, i'll try something.
ok, it has to be quakenet, because i set up one that can connect to other servers, but quakenet.
