To say this much...I have seen very few gamecube soundfonts, the goal of this thread is to make more possible, I unfortunately do not know how to rip samples and make them myself, other than DS games, I wish to hopefully seek out or someone to make a soundfont out of Dragon Ball Z budokai for the gamecube/PS2.
The reason is probably that the majority of GC games use streamed audio, so it would be impossible to make a soundfont for them.

I see, however is there a way to tell? I don't exactly know anything about ripping these kinds of soundfonts and I've had literally no luck asking others because I always get ignored, so I guess I'm gonna have to try myself.
If you can find the GC game/music on vgm.hcs64.com a soundfont can't be automatically created as all currently supported music is streamed (i.e. prerecorded, one can't extract instruments from mixed down music). The fact that sequenced music (i.e. music where MIDI like sequences are separate from instrument data, the latter which could be used for soundfonts) is not available as emulated sound format for GC games so far makes automatically creating soundfont even harder.
Short of yourself doing all the work on emulation/conversion that's currently missing your best chance is looking into the The VGM/Others Instrument Source Thread and putting together a soundfont of the samples already known.

What of Games on the PS2? would they be the same? I have a bunch of kingdom hearts 1 and 2 samples, though I don't know if the same could done for dbz budokai
