Need help decoding BRR sample! by birdmanager6 at 12:13 AM EST on December 11, 2017
So, I've been recently trying to extract samples from SNES ROMS. But there's one that I can't get with any extractor, strangely. So I sought out to extract it with a hex editor. When I try to convert it, it says it's an invalid size, which isn't a multiple of 9. But I checked with a calculator and the size is a multiple of 9! And it seems to be the correct offset! Help!

Why didn't you just use JCOM-SPC Tool to extract the samples? Just mute the channels and record the solo sample Then on audacity you just cut the sample, loop and normalize it. Boom And it is even more easier than HEX Decoding.

@ Jesse_
The quality is much better if I EXTRACT the sample rather than record it and the sample can't be dumped to SPC. I tried dumping a SPC but it only seems to keep bits of the sample loaded at a time.
Oh, i don't know so much about HEX decoding but i extracted once a whole SNES album, but it got lost on my old HDD. I really want to help but unfortunately my limit is Wii Dumping :/
@Jesse_ JCOM samples are really hard to loop or some of them are "glued" together.
