Hi there! I know that someone has uploaded here the KH2.8 ripped sountrack and I'm very interested in which methods were used in order to do it.
I have the .uassets and I tried by using Gildor's Umodel and some special commands, but it didn't worked to me. I'm very interested and it's for researching purposes. Could anyone help me?
I just tried it over the .pak and it extracted everything well, but I'm in the same situation as before, I don't have any clue of how to extract music from .uasset I tried to use the script with one .uasset alone and it asks me about a decryption key. I tried all the keys that appear but no one worked. The script that I'm using is the "unreal_tournament_4.bms" Could you please be a bit more precise? I imagine that you cutted the first part of the header, do you remember which part must be cutted off? Also, why is vgmtoolbox necessary? If you delete the header you get the raw data and then you can add it an extension. Do you remember which extension was it?
I'll be so glad if you tell me which part shuld I cut since I'm still a bit noobie with hex editors. Link
I'm not sure we're talking about the same files, that method works with KH3D music and with music inside Launcher, but not with 0.2 uassets These files are different, I also saw that you extracted them in .sab format. Okay, I'm stupid, I just compared your files with the originals and then saw the changes. Thanks a lot for the help, now I'm able to do it myself ^-^ It works perfectly
