so i came up with this ADPCM-like format while i was bored...
dax_encode.bms

keep in mind that this can only encode 1-channel WAVE files and does not support .dax decoding

okay, now this encoder can now support 2-channel WAVE files, still no .dax->PCM16 decoding support sadly

now i need to find a way to reduce the encoded size of this thing beyond just 50% of the original PCM16 data... besides, this audio encoding algorithm kinda sucks in its current state

okay, here's an update on dax_encode.bms

i've changed up the encoding algorithm. yes really.

and i can't really explain what exactly did i change up on said algorithm because i have not a single clue about what the heck am i even doing at this point in time

so yeah, good luck decoding a .dax file by this point
