Thanks for the description, I had seen some of it before but not all of it.

I'll continue using HA though despite my filter problem (which shouldn't happen).

The options stick in viogsf, filtering is stuck on -5 since I changed it and I can't change it and de-clicking doesn't stick off so I can't see what it is like without it. (Is there any option to remove all filtering off the file? HA had two filters which could both be turned off or changed easily between none, linear etc. etc..)

And now I have removed HA from one of my Winamp installations, GSF files no longer show in the explorer window of Winamp's open file box so I have to use * to make them all appear. This applies to all vioXSF plug-ins actually and is highly annoying.
Does anyone know why all vioXSF plug-ins don't display files in Winamp's open file box?

I can't reproduce these problems. Are you using in_viogsf.dll or in_viogsfu.dll? Do GSF and MINIGSF appear in Winamp's File Types pane?

in_viogsfu.dll and yes they appear in the File Types pane but they don't appear in the Supported Types (and hence why they don't appear) in the Open file(s) dialogue. This also applies to 2SF.

SSFs do (which use in_viossfu.dll) amazingly and are listed twice in the supported types box in the Open file(s) dialogue. One for in_viossf.dll and in_viossfu.dll...

I thought vioXSF without the u didn't work on Winamp 5? If so why is it listed in my installed plug-ins?

Should I copy the other XSFs without the u into the directory?

^Did you have them both installed by any chance?

Only for SSF, for 2SF and GSF I have only the u version installed.

Is the .bin file installed, too?

when 'supported types' is mentioned, are you referring to the 'all supported types' option or just the specific option for that format further down the list (if present)?

as most likely your extension list for "all" formats has gone over the 260 character limit (OS imposed) which then prevents some extensions from being shown for the 'all' option.

am sure that's been covered on here a few times now.

also if you install http://nunzioweb.com/daz/14nunz.html and then run the 'supported file extensions' report from it, it'll tell you if the 260 char limit has been reached and can then roughly be worked out from the info it provides at which extension it will stop working (remember to account for , and *. on the string length).

Hey SmartOne, did you ever get the Noise Channel volume adjustment working well for all game audio or is that version still producing "pops" in Mother 3 (and probably other stuff)?

Also, is version 0.08 still the very latest?
