I don't think having the MIDI data in the miniUSFs rather than the USFlib will necessarily make it any larger. Having some samples partially loaded will probably do it, though, as will the difference in state caused by that little extra time (deviant execution for each different tracks).
Whatever.

And if I you want I can help with the processing, I've got a nearly-empty computer lab full of 2.8 GHz machines here. Just put up the ripper executable you're using, a save state, and whatever parameters I'll need (such as what song range I should work on).

i would if i had braught my files to UNI today. Anyway i got computer labs which will be empty tommorrow, and thats when i will plan on doing the rip (22 computers)

Oh, and there isn't one savestate, just about 144 of them (the ripper doesn't like the TLB errors)

Hmmm, perhaps i might be able to get it working today...i remember what i patched into them (whats what you get from many hours staring at the same screen - it is burned it my mind.

I'll see what i can do.
Meh, i'll just go home early and start it there. Its too hot in this lab anyway.

Heh, ironically enough this lab is too cold.
Slightly off topic (Maybe) by marioman at 6:36 PM EDT on October 12, 2005
I am not trying to break away from the topic of your discussion there, but I thought that I better update you on something:

I FOUND THE MONKEY BALL 2 SOUNDTRACK!!! It can be found here. Yes, it is the same place that Unknownfile posted for the Mario Party 3 OST. They just updated it recently and added SMB, SMB2, and Mario Party 4. So, you guys might would like to check it out.

A big thanks goes out to Unknownfile for posting this link. Thanks a lot.

See you later.

w00t

and this thread doesn't really have a topic, that's why I post random stuff here.
It's as close to blogging as I'll get.

topic? The topic of this thread is discussing the topic of this thread.

64th Note has decided that it doesn't like the TLB Misses and that in the recompiler cpu it crashes and burns because of Non-mapped space.
The other option is to make the tracks miss the first fraction of a second (up to like ? a second).

Dang.

Here's a new free WinAmp VST Host DSP Plugin being worked on by kvr forum member here.

And here's the plugin

It might still be a bit buggy though. :P

Right, thats it. Ripping cbfd is pissing me off now. Now the output from my fresh compiled version of the batch ripper don't even work, but the same thing with hcs's compiled version of it works fine.

So therefore, i have decided to use the ones from the sample, plus the special made sloprano, then running the rest of the original ones manually through the ripper one by one.

could you give me your modified PJ64 source (for the save state creation) and let me take a look at it to see if I can't get some workage?
and are you sure you're using the right rsp.dll for the ripper? that bugged me to no end, since I don't have anything to specifically detect the rsp.dll with the trace code built in
