Thanks! I wonder why the other link doesn't work...?

Rogue Galaxy beta tracks added to PSF Mirror #1. Unfortunately, the link to the set doesn't appear to be working yet.

Looks like Dark Cloud was a generic driver game after all!

If only there were tools to help people rip generic driver games!

*ahem*

It is now mirrored over here

In my very little experience with PSF2s it seems that the hardest part is breaking out the SQ/BD/HD files from larger files. I can't seem to find a way automate the process for every game since I don't think the file lengths are included anywhere in the SQ/BD/HD sections themselves. I've seen a custom header and/or layout for each of the few games I've examined. Any ideas?

I have, however, built a tool to automate the PSF2 building process based on Neill's Corlett's mkpsf2.exe program and his PSF2Ripkit. It's just a simple front end, but allows for easy batch processing. If you can separate the SQ/BD/HD files, this will automate the creation of the PSF2s from them (good for giant sets with a ton of SFX). Check it out here. The source is in the SVN there too if anyone is interested.

Let's see if this works for nonUF people:

If only there were tools that time rip generic driver PS1/PS2 games!

*ahem*

And yea, I know about PGConv/P2GConv, while those are helpful, they still get the wrong times more often than not (don't support all tempo change commands, it seems). Also, they only output one loop files, so you still need to manually determine the proper, two loop duration.

What streaming format does Rogue Galaxy use?

Mother 3 GSFs size optimized (shaves about 12 MB):

Not tested extensively, but the few tracks I've tried worked fine. If you spot any errors, be sure to share them here.

So, a little Christmas present for all of ya.

http://2sf.hcs64.com/gsf/Game%20Boy%20Advance%20Music.rar

Done with the GSF reorganization, here's the result.
All GSF libs renamed to match the rom serial and about 400 of my Saptapper rips not available at Caitsith2 site (not tagged in any way, but autimed, which is good enough for me).
Lotsa other work as well (alternate region names, year & dev/publisher credit fixes).

Will be up for about a week or so, so get it while it's hot. :)
