The sample I uploaded was one out of many instrument splits from the original. I'm not about to sample them all. If you really want a SC-88, I would get the Sound Canvas VA that I linked.

I don't know how instument splits can be found when the soundfont isn't availiable but hmm...it does seem like it'd be a good idea to get that!

Of course, I don't have any DAW programs and would probably want to make it my MIDI device so the emulated SC-88 could play everything.

Still, thanks for letting me know that the Fantasia was the SC-88's!

Does anyone by chance happen to know where this Rhodes sample derived from (it's timestamped, but if it doesn't work, 7 second mark)? Typically the game uses samples from Zero-G's cinematic line-up, but couldn't find it from Alien Skies, Dark Skies, and Deep Impact.

@baggagelizard Ah, that'd be more convenient but I stick to the Android side...I'd probably only ever be interested in iOS too get the apps they never bring over to Android.

Pokemon HGSS, BW, and BW2 use NI Kontakt and EWQL Goliath for instruments.

I heard this sound in goldeneye and Castlevania Symphony of the night.

Edirol Orchestra is also used a lot in Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, Pokemon Battle Revolution, Pokemon Trozei + Battle Trozei and Shuffle. Same composer for all of those btw lol, but I haven't heard of it anywhere else

The Pokemon ORAS Slateport City organ is from the Kontakt Factory Library, band section, called "Cool Cats"

The Heavy Rain lead synth is from Omnisphere, and is called Square Blipies
