- Yoshis Story Still Wrong *mad* by Emil007 at 3:01 PM EST on November 23, 2005
- Hi
you know i've tagged Yoshis Story and you have made it complete now, but there are a few mistakes i told you but you didnt work them out
The "composer Name Fixed by UNKNOWNFILE" is wrong, i had "Kazumi Totaka" and UNKNOWNFILE fixed it to "Kazumi Tokata" , which is wrong. (Search Google for both names)
also there were a few mistakes in the old tag, and 5 unknown-tracks, now there is only one left. Also my "new" version includes an usf of the first track and 3 Playlists
i hope you will fix it now and not ignore me like last time i send you my fix....
I think a complete set should be perfect :P

- Can anyone confirm this? (Diddy Kong Racing) by Vague Rant at 6:56 PM EST on November 23, 2005
- 02. Title Theme.miniusf ("Title Theme") seems to be missing a few notes between 0:42 and 0:44, played while Pipsy (the yellow mouse) is introduced on screen if you've got the game handy. Is this issue occurring on anyone else's set, or have I ruined something?
The notes are missing with Audio HLE on or off.
EDIT: If anyone's interested, I've got a couple of mp3s--one of how it sounds on my machine, and another of how it should sound for comparison.

- What do you use in your Winamp effects chain? by Apx at 2:22 AM EST on November 24, 2005
- Like the title says, what plugins/hardware do you use to enhance your listening experience in winamp?
I used to use this crossfeed dsp plugin for awhile til I got around to building my own using the various schematics in the Signal Processors section of the Headwize projects page. And now that I used it for half a year, I just can't live without it. ;P I know that last part sounds a bit clich?, but that's the truth :P

- Sound Interpolation by kemenaran at 7:07 AM EST on November 26, 2005
- 64th Note is wonderfull, I can count the tracks I listen with it :D
However, while listening the recently dumped Extreme-G tracks, I noticed that the plugin really needs some system of sound interpolation, like in the SPCAMP plugin for Winamp (I believe it uses the ZNES sound engine). I think Sound interpolation greatly improve the quality of sound, making them sound less like basic synthetisor and more like playing N64 on TV...
Is anything planned in this direction ?
- USF Central Downtime by hcs at 1:30 PM EST on November 27, 2005
- You may notice that the links on USF Central are missing. All the files are still there but I've removed the links to save bandwidth. In the last four days nearly all of my bandwidth for the month was used up, only about 1 GB is left until December. I finally got off my ass and updated the ZD archive, but Yoshi's Story isn't up there because I gather it's still somewhat unfinal.
Prelim sets can be had here.

- DKDSP Stereo Channel Order by ugetab at 3:41 PM EST on November 27, 2005
- I'm curious if DKDSP will produce incorrect left and right channels if you if you don't feed it the file names in a specific order. Left channel file, followed by Right channel file seems to be the logical order, but I'd like to be certain.
- Diddy Kong Racing problem by Static at 7:53 PM EST on November 27, 2005
- "17. Boulder Canyon" is messed up. In the game, the song changes when you enter a tunnel inside the castle, instead the usf plays both versions at the same time. It could also be longer than 38 seconds.
I'm nitpicking mostly, it's a good set, thanks UNKNOWNFILE, wherever you are.

- Could you please tell me which format the files packed in this SBB-archive from Biohazard 4 use?

Same goes for this file from Biohazard (Moonlight Sonata).

Help is very much appreciated.

- In tradition of useless threads on other forums, I have decided to make a pretty useless thread as well.
Nobody can beat this desktop.

- Wouldn't it be funny if I could actually make back some of the money I pay to run this site? I know I'd be laughing.
All the way to the bank!
HA!

Thus the google ads on the page (here and on USF Central). Chosen because they're fairly unintrusive.
