That bass was used in Pokémon X and Y.

- Here is my version of the VGM Instrument Source En cyclopedia! I'll try to add every sample I find to it. The list is very short right now, but you can also add samples to it if you want.

- @ArcenyHax I can't seem to recall where that sample you linked on the previous page came from. I tried a few of my discs but can't seem to recall it. I still think its a Spectrasonics sound though.
@G-Boy I added a few of my findings.

I abandoned it, downloadable sample CDs are too complicated for me.

- Does anyone know where the vocals from the title theme in Wario Land 4 came from?

- Listen to the weirdest samples ever used in a GBA game:

I don't even know where to begin...
Who, what, why? Maybe I'm overreacting, but where the heck did these samples come from?
I found them in the Wario Land 4 soundfont I ripped from the game. Some of them are unused, and some of them was used in the title screen music. They're very fuzzy, but not as fuzzy as in the game. The question is: why wasn't the singer credited and how did these end up in a Wario game?
Does anyone know where these samples came from?

- Keep in mind, the sample rate is off for a lot of those samples (either deliberately to save space, or because your tool(s) didn't rip them properly). It's especially noticeable with the vocal samples (0x148308 - 0x102adc). And those probably come from some 90s techno music.

I think the sample rate is off because Nintendo had to compress the samples in order to save space on the GBA. GBA voice samples have always been low-quality anyway. At least they sound better than they would if they were recorded from the actual console.
