- Playlist tag problems by Tanookirby at 11:02 AM EST on December 20, 2005
- Something is wrong with my 64th note Plugin. When the Donkey Kong 64 usfs are on the winamp playlist, they are not listed as game title and name of song. How do I fix that?
- Saturn Castlevania PCM playback? by JILost at 11:23 AM EST on December 20, 2005
- Hi. I have tried countless software, playback methods, and configurations for playing back the Castlevania: SotN .pcm files, but all I get is horrible, horrible static and noise with music burried somewhere beneath it. Cassini (a Saturn emulator) can play back the sound test flawlessly, but the emulator is slow and thus the playback is jerky and repetitive. If anyone would like to take a stab at it, here is a randomly selected song:
http://www.purpleguppy.net/music/SD1D.PCM
Beware: it's "I am the Wind." It's music, though.
Note: This is not an "OMG PUT SEGA ADPCM SUPOART N IN_CUBE.DLL" request--since, to my knowledge, this format was never used in GCN games. This is more of an "I'm sick of these things giving me static, please help me figure out how to play them back/convert them to WAV properly!" request. I just figured you guys might be able to crack the case since you seem good at figuring out these other PCM formats.

- USF Player Found by patrick at 4:59 AM EST on January 5, 2006
- If you are finding it hard to configure Winamp to play your USF files, use Coolplayer.
All you have to do is download the ZIP file and extract the program. Then you put the 64th note DLLs into the same folder, open the program and VOILA! you can open your USF files by right-clicking the menu bar. To get your USF's to show up, set the File type to 'All Files'. Hope this helps!

- Latest version of 64th Note doesn't work. by Sonmari at 3:05 PM EST on January 13, 2006
- I saw an earlier thread addressing this, but the poster's problem seemed a bit different from mine.
A few days ago, I downloaded 64th Note v 1.0 FINAL (Winamp plugin). I tried to play some miniusf files from Mario Party 3 (and later F-Zero X), but they did not work. When I saw an earlier suggestion to turn on error display, I did that and this is the message I got:
Failed to open file: (file location)
error reading USF
I tried reinstalling Winamp (v. 5.111) and later got the latest version (v. 5.12), but I still get the same error message. All of my input plugins are the one's I chose to install with Winamp except for these four. They are:
a) Meridian GBS player v 0.2 (x86)
b) GYM file player 0.1.6.4 (x86)
c) Alpha II SPC Player v 3.2 (x86)
d) Highly Advanced 0.11 (x86)
I checked the archives for Mario Party 3 and F-Zero X and they nad neither viruses nor archive errors. Is there a way to fix this, or will I have to just go back to the last version of 64th note?
- ADX's by JILost at 6:02 PM EST on January 14, 2006
- I realize that Raiden III isn't a Gamecube game (it's a PS2 game), but the music -is- in ADX format and is currently unplayable by in_cube.dll. I thought you guys (or possibly just hcs) might want to investigate and consider adding support for this new(?) ADX format.

Good luck.
