I would believe it would be "safe" to post here since the whole site is about sharing copyrighted material, sort of.

I forgot I have these AKAI discs from Roland. They are called Roland-L.A.Composer Vol 1 - 4. Oh man they a filled with Roland greatness! Has so many good (pretty much the best of sample CDs) samples panned across 4 volumes. I won't get into super details because I'm sure TONS of games used them back in the day. And most of them are in 48khz. I'll probably do a song with them sometime.

Anywho, I've uploaded(Roland Folder) some samples that are undoubtedly have been heard somewhere before. The Snare roll and Staccato strings come from Goldeneye/Perfect Dark/Jet Force Gemini.

On other note, has anyone heard these before? I don't recall hearing this but it sounds cool. This, this and this. They're soundfont files so you'll need something to open them. I can't put my finger on it but I've heard of few of the samples in the sf2s.

the Same Roland Samples tend to appear in many various formats, be it sound modules, Keyboard Workstations/Synthesizers or CDs. The CDs are possibly higher quality than what the samples in many of the games were originally sampled from!

It's been shown that some, if not many, Rare N64 Titles have samples from the Roland JV-1080.

Yeah. Rare composers mostly used JV1080 for their stuff.

Found a couple more.
This SFX is from Bomberman Hero. And I strongly believe this is the full version of Ocarina of Time's Market chatter.
Both come from Big Fish Audio's Prosonus ProFX CD1. I've heard a lot of other game SFX in their also and some anime sfx.

After listening through some of the files in voice spectral 1 I think the New Super Mario Bros. Wii Bah sounds nintendo used are a group of female singers. Check it out https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B8rHgE_H8aJsdnp3WUdTUTVBbGs&usp=sharing.

Yeah yours sounds better :) nintendo did something with the samples. Anyways onto something else I've been wondering, does anyone know what sample library nintendo used for the wario world soundtrack? Here is the OST, give it a listen and tell me what you think because I want to make similar music to that thanks.

It sounds like you sampled it from the DS version, baggagelizard - to my knowledge the Wii version doesn't quite have that same sample. That should be easy to rip, but I'll see what I can do with dj4uk6cjm's.
Incidentally, would it be okay if you were to supply the whole pack? I'd be interested to get my hands on them.

As for Wario World, I can't quite tell for the most part, but I'm convinced that a good chunk of it is a Roland Fantom + Korg Triton combo. The Courtyard song has some identical brass stabs to those found in Super Mario Galaxy, which I'm convinced originate from a Fantom. The voice hits around 0:10 are from the Triton (a friend's said they're also in the M1, so there's a possibility it may be it, and not the Triton): the Voice Set ROM patch, to be precise. I've recorded the two samples used in the song for reference.

I've located that Pulsar Modular Synth recreation of the Roland JD-800, and it seems it has its factory samples available in WAV format! Here it is if you want to try it out.

Scratch M1 from Koji Kondo's gear, by the way - whatever I thought was from it seems to be from the AKAI Sound Library Vol. 1 XL instead.
