someone else once reported a problem with posting to the wrong thread... but I've checked over the code and I can't see anything to cause it.
by Mouser X at 12:08 PM EDT on August 31, 2005
That's not the problem. I'm 90% certain I posted in this thread (I remember seeing some of the other messages when posting). Apparently, I thought I was somewhere else... In other words, it was user error, not forum error. Oh well. Sorry about that. Mouser X over and out.
Fixeight bootleg by unknownfile at 3:18 PM EDT on September 4, 2005
I have been able to make a music modifier for the bootleg version of our favorite 1-hit-kills-you arcade shootemup, Fixeight. (Take note, R. Belmont.)

Name - Music modifier
Type - Normal/Delay
One-Shot - On
Operation - Set/Clear Bit
Set/Clear - Set
Data - 13 (19)
User Select - On
Address - 108000

Note - if music is already playing you must wait for the sound processing function to eat this new song number.

HOORAY FOR THREAD RESSURECTION.

I have successfully made Mawaru Wario be recognized by Saptapper, though it just crashes and gives static.

Also, the not-so-long awaited Undercover Cops MP3 rip is complete. I would like to request permission to start seeding it next weekend.

Congrats on the Mawaru Wario GSF success. That will be an interesting one to hear.

Who are you going to submit the set to when you are finished? I have been trying to submit a set to CaitSith2 for quite a while, but to no avail.

Thanks for your help.

Permission granted, the tracker is at your disposal. Ask Mouser about how to upload if you don't know already.

Mawaru Wario was able to work by me merging two different roms together (upper chunk of Densetsu no Stafy 3 and lower chunk of Mawaru Wario, starting at the Sappy bank). And as of now, it just crashes and goes into an endless loop.

And UCCops is seeding on the tracker.

The SoA DSF tracks and other DSF/SSF stuff can be found here:

http://www.neillcorlett.com/etc/htdemo

The SOA Test track is on the OST as 219 - Bombardment 2.

Notably in that directory there are working DSFs for Ikaruga. I have the ADPs of this game and used them during testing of in_cube, but they're about 500x bigger than the DSF set.

hmm, what exactly are the DSFs? I realise they're a type of ripped format, but from the Game Cube?
