- Great find! How did you get to know the musicians at Nintendo mostly use Logic, anyway? I couldn't find anything from the interviews I've read and such (not that they usually have any gear listings). Then again, you said you were the one to introduce David Wise to HALion...
Does anyone know where the "doo" sample used for Bob-omb Battlefield is from? I'm also wondering if the sound effect for talking to them uses it as well.

It could be from a synth or maybe voice spectral vol 1 by Best Service. Koji Kondo loves that sound library.

- @Can of Nothing Not even sure. Just an assumption before and since I found sounds in Logic, that pretty much confirmed it.
I could, dj4uk, but just so you know, they'd be raw samples and wouldn't sound like they do in the games. I'm trying to find the folder right now.

I don't know about the Skyward samples since those patches are modifications of other patches and I don't know what the source material is.
However, I might have found the gamelan instrument used in Thwomp Ruins from MK8 and Piranha Creeper Creek from 3D World. Currently uploading that.

- If the samples don't originally loop, you could just re-record (play them each back) the samples and save as wav. Whenever you feel like it of course because that would probably take a long time. That's what I'd used to do, then loop them.
