I am amazed that Switch version of BotW is 48kHz, I thought Nintendo would go the lazy route once again.

Could be that the originals on WiiU are 32kHz only so they cant upscale.

Oh, they definitely do. Nintendo is just obsessed with music at 32KHz. It's much more of a surprise that BotW is 48KHz.

Everything needs to be 192kHz/24-bit FLAC.

2.8224 MHz DSD all the way.
