- Shadowgate 64 by hcs at 3:31 PM EDT on September 30, 2005
- Is anyone here interested in beating Shadowgate 64 so we can get the name of the artist from the credits?
- by Mouser X at 4:13 PM EDT on September 30, 2005
- Does Shadowgate happen to have a different name in another country? I'm searching for the game but for composer info, I'm getting nothing. I even used the Wayback machine to access a site that has apparently gone down. It's got a huge list of games, and the composers for those games. The wayback link is here
As for playing through and beating the game, I really doubt I'm up for it (mainly time constraints, and lack of desire to spend that kind of time on this particular project). For anyone that does though, good luck. Mouser X over.

- Huge Tag Shipment by marioman at 4:18 PM EDT on September 30, 2005
- Hi everyone, and welcome back PDZ. PDZ, please don't worry about your English - I really don't care what a person's grammar/vocabulary is like as long as I can get the general idea of what they are trying to say - provided that it is CLEAN. :) Besides, the more that you practice speaking English, the better you get at it.
Well, I have been very busy, but I have worked really hard and gathered a LOAD of tags for you guys. Unfortunately, I cannot tag/time these sets myself because I do not have the time right now. (I had a hard enough time getting these tags.) So, I hope that someone will use these to finish their respective sets. Furthermore, as before I do not want credit for these tags - let the person who does the REAL work get the credit. (*hint hint PDZ*) Anyway, here they are:
-----Mario Party 2-----
I have been telling myself for a long time, "Marioman, you need to get Mario Party 2." So when the USF set came out I thought, "What a better time to get it than now? I have been meaning to get it anyway, and if I get it now I can help tag the USF set." So, I bought it and I have verified all of hcs' track names, and now I am adding these track names:
Sparse# - Track Name
2C - Toad Bandstand - Flower Waltz
2D - Toad Bandstand - Toad's Waltz
2E - Move to the Music - Rhythm Shakers
2F - Move to the Music - Dancing Star
31 - Look Away
39 - Determining the Winner
5B - Toad is Kidnapped
42 - Mini-Game Coaster Results
43 - Drum Roll
44 - Win (One Winner)
45 - Lose
48 - Instant Replay
52 - Win (Multiple Winners)
53 - Get Item
54 - Get Bowser Bomb
55 - New Record
57 - Draw
59 - Board Title
5C - Get a Star
5D - Get a Ztar
5E - Mushroom Genie
Duplicates:
3D - I Can Do It! (Duplicate)
3F - Ending (Duplicate)
47 - Know What I Mean? (Duplicate)
56 - Lose Item Game? (Duplicate)
51 - Win (One Winner) (Duplicate)
60 - New Record (Duplicate)
-----Animal Forest-----
I just happened along some Animal Forest MP3s recently (well, Animal Crossing actually, but AF and AC are the same game), and I thought that I would at least put up tags for them. All of these are played depending on what time of the day it is:
Sparse# - Track Name
01 - Midnight
02 - 1:00 AM
03 - 2:00 AM
04 - 3:00 AM
05 - 4:00 AM
06 - 5:00 AM
07 - 6:00 AM
08 - 7:00 AM
09 - 8:00 AM
0A - 9:00 AM
0B - 10:00 AM
0C - 11:00 AM
0D - Noon
0E - 1:00 PM
0F - 2:00 PM
10 - 3:00 PM
11 - 4:00 PM
12 - 5:00 PM
13 - 6:00 PM
14 - 7:00 PM
15 - 8:00 PM
16 - 9:00 PM
17 - 10:00 PM
18 - 11:00 PM
If I remember correctly, Emili007 was the first to request this one. Does this mean that she can provide tags for it too? Just wondering.
Speaking of Emili007, I was looking at your Yoshi's Story tags the other day, and I noticed that you have five tracks that are marked as "unknown". Well, hcs and I put together a WONDERFUL list of tags for Yoshi's Story, and we identified all but one track. The list is available here. All I ask is that you LOOK at it and see if it is a help - that is all.
Also, just a reminder to anyone who might be interested in tagging Mario Party 3, that I did post tags for it here. (Another good tag project for PDZ. I am trying my hardest to give you an opportunity to get a set ALL TO YOURSELF.)
Alright, believe it or not, that is it for now. Thanks to PDZ for the Mario Tennis tags; they look good. Well, I better go return to my crazy schedule.
Thanks.

- Yeah, that's the only reason I suggested a Shadowgate 64 playthrough, my research ran completely dry. I couldn't even find a composer for the NES version. It's been called "Shadowgate" since the beginning everywhere it's been released.
marioman, good to see all dem tags, and thanks for the links back to old stuff.

- Ho ho! Hold that thought!
Game Music Base to the rescue!
We have Saori Kobayashi (who also worked on Panzer Dragoon) and Kennosuke Suemura (music credits for Super Bonk, Tengai Makyou Shinden, and Money Puzzle Exchanger, and programming for Saturn Bomberman Fight (and a bunch of others)) to thank for Shadowgate 64's music.

- Snowboard Kids by hcs at 6:10 PM EDT on September 30, 2005
- Ok, what I have here with Snowboard kids is essentially the same problem with Chopper Attack, massive CPU usage. I've worked on eliminating as much unneeded code as I can but it's still about on par with CA. Now at the time I ripped CA I thought it might just be due to a very intensive music enigne, but on further though it seems less likely.
So I put it to the people who want Snowboard Kids ripped: look at how Chopper Attack runs. Do you want a rip of Snowboard Kids that's about the same or do you want to wait until I get the CPU usage down (which may never happen)?
- by PdZ at 10:22 PM EDT on September 30, 2005
- I have a big CPU (3 GHz) and a lot of DDR2 Ram.If it is not a problem for u, pls Rip it.Some people would be very happy about that and if it is eventually someday possible to clean up the unneeded code, that people with lower CPUs could play this rip, it would also be nice for them.Personally: I love Snowboard Kids.. pls publish it...
:)
To the others:
Iam not back with complete tagging.Iam only back for some help (like for taggers on Mario Tennis).I see, what people here are "doing", and i think, I will also give the best I could do for all.Thx to all.
bye

- If it's going to be unstable/unplayable/difficult to play for a sizeable proportion of people, I'd recommend waiting on it until you're able to get the CPU usage lowered (unless you want to rip it now then replace it later on). I think my comp might be able to play it (2Ghz 512mb DDR).
- by hcs at 5:45 AM EDT on October 1, 2005
- Well here it is, folks.
I put the date "9/31/05" in the info.txt because I forgot how many days September has.
- by unknownfile at 6:21 AM EDT on October 1, 2005
- there are 30 days in september
---
Snowboard kids gets 10-20% cpu on my machine.
