@Knurek - the 900 MB one is correct.
I uploaded the set but got "disconnected". Checking the directory listing I didn't see it, so I pressed "retry" and it seemed to work. BUT the uploaded file was 1.7 GB (I guess it "resumed" the disconnected upload), so I had to reupload (twice, as I had even more disconnects --in case you some more garbage).

EDIT: uploaded Baroque (PS1)

Is Child of Eden (X360) a native rip (and not converted from XWB)? I know it's a music-based game, and as I recall, the "series" is known for dynamically changing the music. I would think that XWB files would be easier to dynamically change between (since they're all part of the same file) than XMA, but there's certainly plenty of other ways to do it (I seem to recall a game that used MIDI for keeping track of timing within multiple streamed files, without necessarily having those streamed files all loaded/playing in memory). The files are XMA, which IIRC, is what most XWBs are split into. I don't know if there's an easy way to check this (other than to download/rip the game myself/yourself, and check the files).

While I'm asking, what about Mass Effect (X360)? The 7z file contains BMS scripts, "xma_parse.exe", and "xma_parse_rebuild.bat". I don't know if it's worth re-ripping (if it even needs it), but I saw those files, and I couldn't help but wonder. I also noticed that Mass Effect 2 (X360) also has some BMS scripts, EXEs, and BAT files as well (inside the "Kasumi - Stolen Memory" directory). Even Mass Effect 3 (X360) conains EXE files (though, considering how much they effect the overall file size, that's probably unimportant).

Then there's Fireaxis verus Firaxis. I haven't downloaded those yet (and they have different file sizes, and different file dates on the server), so I don't know which is "more correct".

And last(?) for now, is Star Ocean - The Last Hope (X360) versus http://x360.joshw.info/s/Star Ocean - The Last Hope [Star Ocean 4 - The Last Hope] (2009-02-19)(tri-Ace)(Square Enix).7z. The "short name" one is newer, but the "long name" one has files named to match the OST. It looks like the "long name" (and older) one is a conversion to XMA (from ACE, which is used in the newer "short name" rip). Comparing them by file size, it looks like the primary difference is the header for the ACE files is bigger (and contains a file name - ex: "SO4_BGM_64.wav" inside the header of "SO4_BGM_64.ace"). If I were to hazard a guess, I think you could probably rename the "short name" set's "SO4" files to the "long name" set's files, based on file size. I might do that myself, but I doubt my internet connection is reliable enough to upload anything (I average 1200ms pings, with 20%-25% loss in pings sent vs. received. :( ).

These were just some of the things I noticed as I've been downloading/updating various sets I've been wanting to add to my collection, that either weren't available last time I was here, or weren't playable with the version of VGMstream that was available at that time. Mouser X over and out.

Well, after about 30 minutes of edits, I've concluded that the "]" character in the 2nd Star Ocean link ("long name") is breaking the url tag I've been trying to use. I bolded the link (copy+paste the bold), because I can't figure out how to force the forum to properly parse the second "]" character. I suspect there *is* a way to get it to work right (it's almost certainly come up before now), but I couldn't figure it out. :(

@bnnm - Regarding your faulty first LR upload, according to the log you managed to get the server to start two SSH uploads at the same time. o.O; I guess the SSH upload was still in progress and your "retry" started a second one. Will look into preventing that.

Interesting coincidence that a Lightning Returns rip pops up, since I just recently got this done:

Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PS3)

^I think I got all the music.... I even looked through the DLC, and the only extra tune I found was the Gilgamesh battle theme (which I added, naturally). I tried demuxing the movies, but I got nothing from them, so... here you are. Maybe I'll look into the PS3 version of LR myself, if I get the chance....

In its current state, the archive for The Silver Case Remaster is unplayable due to being in FSB format. Through a lot of effort and research, I have a full set of all the music and (probably) most of the sound effects, including the remixed music that was added in June.

The reason they can't be played as they are is because the timing information is missing (I think, it's been a while.) To bring them to a playable state, I used a Python script called python-fsb5 to reconstruct the OGG chunks that were encoded in the FSB files, so there aren't any reencoding losses.

I could upload them to Google Drive if anyone's interested.

Interesting note: There were some BIN files I found that were actually MIDIs extracted from the original game. They even work perfectly well with the SF2 files I created with VGMTrans.

@Mouser X - Child of Eden is probably correct. Files have seek tables, which conversions tools would remove.
Mass Effects are conversions. As a rule, if the game's year is >2006, uses XMA1 and/or was uploaded in march/april 2015, there a 99% change it's transmogrified, missing loop points. Ogg conversions have a "ww2ogg" comment, but at least those are well done and handle loops.
"long name SO4" are not XMA, but exactly like "short name SO4" missing a part of the header. Only useful if you make a GENH or something.

@Basillica - those FSB play fine in the latest vgmstream.
I hope you can upload at least the remixed OST, preferably in the original FSBs.

@bnnm
Oh, the problem was that I left one of the boxes unchecked. Works now.

Reripping the files is going to take a while, so in the meantime, here's another OST: CRAP! No One Loves Me (2015-09)(Arcane Kids) (PC)

@bnnm
Okay, I remembered that I actually used the unitypack Python script to extract the files because none of the other batch programs worked for me. I had to make a few changes so it would output raw FSB instead of OGG, but the filenames won't have the same structure as the ones in the existing archive. Would that be acceptable?

Time for goodies galore:

Android

Rockman Xover (One track, but two different file types!)

PC

An Oath to the Stars

Graceful Explosion Machine

HYPER DRIVE: The Insane Gravity Race

Lazer Cops

MagiCat

Necrosphere

A Robot Named Fight! (These were the only tunes I could find.... not sure if there's any more)

Senko no Ronde 2 (A bit of a hefty download (a little over 2GB unpacked), but it's worth it.... this soundtrack kicks ass. Also, I know the latest vgmstream updates makes splitting XWBs unnecessary, but I went and did it anyway)

West of Loathing

PS1

Lightning Legend: Daigo no Daibouken

Poy Poy 2

PS3

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (Like with Tekken 6, there's several duplicate tracks here that I didn't have time to sort out.... my apologies)

Wii

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers (I recall someone else posting their own rip of this a year or two ago.... and while I downloaded it back then, I've since lost that set, sadly enough. Thus, I decided to go ahead and make my own rip instead!)

Enjoy!

I got help ripping Crystal Bearers back in 2012 (or earlier?), but it didn't receive support in VGMstream until Dragon Quest X came out. I wasn't able to upload it, so Sir-Sabin ripped, and uploaded it. More than once, I think. Thank you for uploading it again. Hopefully it ends up on JoshW's server this time! I have the thread open where the rip was requested (multiple threads, multiple times. Apparently by the same person?), in the hopes that it would remind me to upload it some time. Again, thanks for posting/uploading this set! I've listened to it (years ago), and was unimpressed. Nonetheless, knowing it's rippable (and has been ripped), had bugged me for quite some time.... Though, that can be said for *lots* of games I've ripped over the years (my internet connectivity has been poor/non-existent for years). Skylanders: Spyro' Adventure (though I can't recall if I ripped the PC version, or the Wii version [I have both]), any of the "MySims" games on the Wii, and a few others come to mind.

I just thought it was interesting that you'd post the FFCC:CB rip, when it had been on my mind so recently. Thanks again. Mouser X over and out.
