Snowboard Kids actually uses less CPU than chopper attack, for me. From what I saw, Chopper Attack used about 25-35% of my CPU, whereas Snowboard kids uses about 20%. Of course, that's still pretty high, since most of the other USF sets take 10% or less. I have a 64 bit 2 ghz Athalon CPU, in case you were wondering.

And, just for kick, I thought I'd mention this. I'm accessing the 'net via wire-less network at my house. Today, I completly lost connection, and have been unable to re-establish it. However, oddly enough, someone else in the area has a wireless network going as well, and they have WAY more bandwidth than my local network did... So, uh, yah, I think it's sort of cool, but really, probably bad (except that at least I can get online...). Anyway, just thought I'd let you know the CPU specs for Snowboard kids for my PC. Mouser X over and out.

Diddy Kong Racing
Is now avaliable here.

And so what if I kept dynamic music, the sound test would have made it sound that way anyways.

Also, please refrain from using audio hle. It makes the volume in some tracks go weird.

rip notes:

Using savestate K:\race_start.pj
Trace Begin Offset: 800022C4
Song Value Offset: 0x800e7995
Song values 0x02 to 0x41
Spend 1000 alists ripping each song
Do reset on new data read

rip tutorial coming soon.

Well done. I'm glad the battle tune sounds correct!

"So what if there are dynamic tracks! The sound test even makes them sound like that.
Enter Jukebox in the code select and try a dynamic track if you don't believe me."

If you are meaning the ones with several tracks all merged together, yeah, I realised that's how they came up in the jukebox. I thought there may be a way to bypass that. I'm not the ROMHACKER at work here, though =P *shrug*.

Sounds great anyhow. Now to wait for the tags to be copied over.

Do you have a batch file I could use?

---

Drat, volume in some instruments is too quiet or too loud. But oh well.

No, I had send the batchfile to hcs.I hope he didn't delete it.

The Superspeedtagger is ready.
I tagged the whole Snowboard Kids Set in only 6 Hours (without pause). But I dont know why.. my batchfile didn't set the right values in the tagfield which are complete given in the batchfile.

I didn't know what the problem is.I thought I did all right.

Here the Batchfile for HCS.

Batchfile Snowboard Kids

edit:
I found out, that the short commandline screen which shows the progress of the batchfile sayid very often "Zugriff verweigert".Its German and means "Access Denied".I thought of "Schreibschutz" .I dont know what Schreibschutz means in english.I Think: "Write Protection".U can choose it in the properties screen of any File of Windows (rightklick on file and then "properties").But no file is checked. The files are correct renamed but not tagged.Maybe a bug or something wrong in the batch?

Maybe the order is wrong. Personally, my batch files look like this and I never had a problem:

psfpoint "-game=" *.miniusf
psfpoint "-usfby=" *.miniusf
psfpoint "-tagger=" *.miniusf
psfpoint "-copyright=" *.miniusf
psfpoint "-artist=" *.miniusf
psfpoint "-year=" *.miniusf
psfpoint "-genre=" *.miniusf

psfpoint "-title=" ".miniusf"
(...)

psfpoint "-time=" ".miniusf"
(...)

psfpoint "-fade=" ".miniusf"
(...)

ren "OldName.miniusf" "NewName.miniusf"
(...)

You should always set the rename-orders at the end of the batch-file, so that no errors occur. You could try it this like, otherwise I don't know what you could do.

SK tags are looking good PDZ. Now just stick some times in there and it's all yours.

I agree that the set uses more CPU than usual, but I don't think that it uses an excessively large amount. It uses less than the Ocarnia of Time. (Well, Gerudo Valley anyway.)

Thanks.
