- I also used FastElbja's tool on Tribes - Aerial assault and that's all, there was a separate bigfile for music in that game and I thought that ADPCM Player v1.44h worked fine in that specific case. I mostly use it because of kinda perfect balance between speed & quality of search results (Cube Media Player 2 is too slow and finds the least tracks with default settings & Sony ADPCM Extractor in VGMToolBox is fast & probably dumps even the tiniest stream it finds but also provides some horrible segmentation, I mean like making many files less than a KB & splitting huge BGMs in two or three parts.)
Well actually I rarely use ADPCM Player myself and think thrice before using it on any sets I'm gonna post here. For example all VAGs in those "Alarm for Cobra 11" (PS2) games were extracted using Alpha23's generic splitter BMS; all SFX in "Indiana Jones and the emperor's tomb" were unpacked with VGMT's advanced cutter and so on. I don't even rip off PS2 that much to really make you worried but if you're unsure about methods used on any title I add to VGM archives never hesitate to ask.

- Yea we decided to abandon the tool because it guesses where things are which more often than not, either destroys data or misses it completely. It doesn’t search for headers or anything like that, only searches for the most basic streams like PS2 ADPCM and Xbox IMA and assumes everything is MIB or WAV. When I got the test version of ADPCM Player v1.45 from Fast, we then decided it was probably not a good idea to release it to the public for the reasons mentioned. ADPCM Ripper was another scrapped project.

- But does Aerial assault strictly require reripping now or can that set of mine be left as it is (since it's been added to Archives already)? I suppose I can try splitting that BGM bigfile by hand some time but not so soon. I can speed things up though if my rip's gonna be deleted because I used ADPCM Player when dealing with music archive.
Here's streamed rip from sequel to Chaps and the Ring if someone's interested in it or even cares about that game. Both titles weren't ever released outside Russia so that I had to invent sorta English name for that sequel (the 1st one had "Chaps and the Ring" as default folder name during installation and I used it ever since then).
Both installments in the "series" are quite primitive arcade action/slasher titles and they're totally wacky (in a bad way I suppose) but music's not nearly as bad as you may think (the same applies to D.i.R.T.: Origin of the Species score or soundtrack for Psychotoxic: Gateway to hell for example). Anyway try out this release of mine at your own risk.

- Hello.
Does somebody have a rip of 10.000 Bullets (Tsukiyo ni Saraba) [PS2]?

- If you don’t mind waiting a bit, I can try to look into it unless someone else beats me to it. I have some worries that since it was composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, the music will probably be sequenced what the typical custom containers but you know never know. Fingers crossed.

- Awesome, more Xenosaga nonsense

- I don't have that game on hand, but perhaps you can try using my PSF2 modules from Graffiti Kingdom to rip it?

- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas for PC.
I decided to post it here because I'm not sure if rips made using mainly scan function of DecUbiSndGui can really be classified as streamed sets. Above release suits me fine & I've found everything I looked for so that I don't have any reason for discontent with the gamerip of mine.
It's simple Vorbis for the most part but a bit of 16-bit PCM is present too; for those I've made a consistent TXTH.
All 3 *.ubi files can be played with DecUbiSndGui or decoded using DecUbiSnd.exe.
If someone's interested in soundtrack from this VG and would like to rerip it then I've got all initial bigfiles here. Who knows? It might occur these SS0 will become playable right away one day... via VGMstream I mean.
Oh and the second ver. also has one sound archive, namely !ds.SS0, which I couldn't rip at all with any tool - there're loads of "OGGs" strings there but still it doesn't help much. My hat off to anyone who's able to do something about it.
Till next time!
