Usf to Midi? by cheezer at 5:55 PM EDT on September 16, 2006
I'm sorry if this is a newb question, but there are usfs in the archive which are basically midis, well I mean certain games like both the zelda files use general midi to begin with... so I was wondering if it was possible to convert these into midi. I thought it might at least be possible with ocarina of time and majoras mask as they use Midi to begin with.

Gauntlet Legends by Samuel at 9:59 PM EDT on September 19, 2006
Is Gauntlet Legends complete or what? I did a fantastic job at tagging it and I'm proud of the effort I put into it. I want other people that visit this site to download and enjoy it as well.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time ~ Fire Temple (version 1.1) by valiant at 6:50 AM EDT on September 25, 2006
I noticed that the version on the current rip is the 1.0 version of the "Fire Temple"-track with the original muslim chant. Has the newer 1.1 version with synth vocals been ripped, too? If not, would it be a lot of work because it's basically using the same driver but just some different instruments?
CRI AHX audio support? by MarkGrass at 2:30 AM EDT on September 26, 2006
Any chances that it will ever be implemented into in_cube? *crosses fingers*

Mario Kart 64 Fast Music by ugetab at 6:02 PM EDT on September 27, 2006
I managed to figure out a way to make the USF set play tracks the way the game does on the last lap of a track. The files are just a collection of additional miniusfs that can go in with the original miniusf tracks. All tracks have the faster versions, not just the race track themes.

This is awesome... by xXTheRocXx at 4:11 PM EDT on October 2, 2006
Much love to the people that rip, write in track names, and upload it as files. And how could we forget the people that actually wrote the program? I can't imagine how hard it is to load up a game in your everyday Emu, rip out the music at the exact loop point, and do the work....

Problem with Current DK64 Set by Tanookirby at 10:37 PM EDT on October 4, 2006
I have just downloaded the current DK64 set on this site and listened to some of the files. I realized that some of the files are worse than what I had downloaded a year ago. Some tracks are played too soft while the 100 bananas track ends up playing one of the Jungle Japes themes.
I would be happy to send my version of the USF set with the USFlib so that the problems can be fixed.
Star Fox 64 translation effort by unknownfile at 4:39 PM EDT on October 11, 2006
Due to the fact that this is a large project for me, and that I don't want to hog up the "How I Spend My Time" thread, I have decided to give this a thread of its own.

I started working on this project after playing the Japanese version for months and then heard the English voices. Unlike the Japanese version, which used several established voice actors (some which have also had roles in popular anime such as One Piece and Naruto), the English version was performed by complete amateurs who sounded like crap. In addition to this, they changed the dialogue in parts of the game.

My notes and progress will follow this post.
Dynamically mixing tracks by blm07 at 12:01 AM EDT on October 15, 2006
Is it possible to make the plugin mix tracks that have seperate versions on the fly? Maybe a new field in the tag could be added so the tracks know which ones are linked together. I'd probably be willing to edit the current sets' tags for this new function.
